The leg quarter is 7.5 syns. I'd rather take the chance on the breast piece and smother it in extra sauce (half a syn per tablespoon) if necessary. That's a lot of sauce to make up the syn difference!0 -

Totally agree

Firstly I have to hop out of the pond and into the house without being seen, then I have to hop up on to the desk which is actually really high, whilst negotiating not being eaten by the dogs, and then if the tops down on the lap top I have no hope. It's also no joke typing with webbed feet.
:rotfl: Is she always like this?
Well hello (again). I am hopeless at the moment - not only has February been littered with events/opportunities to slip up (namely pancake day and my birthday), but I'm also still eating my feelings whenever I feel a bit down or stressedI was coming on here to say take me off the challenge and I'll join the next one... but I seem to have already been removed
:o I have been inspired by a post on Instagram of someone's before/after pictures over a ten week period. It's perfectly possible to lose 20lbs in that time and I need to keep my medium term goals in mind.
I enjoyed reading about heights and BMIs over the last few pages. Lois I'm 5'11" same as you so it's interesting that you felt very skinny at 13st as that's my heaviest and I look really bloated at that weight. I'm aiming for 10st (currently 12:4ish) but 10:4 is realistically a maintainable weight for me.
I'll weigh in tomorrow and start again in earnest on Monday.

I have finally back to my pre Christmas weight. I never want a cold that goes to my stomach and makes me put on 5.5lb. Rather have sinusitis any day.
Want to lose at least something as I'm half a pound shirt from 2.5 stone. It's my consultant's last meeting (she will go back to the social team) next week and wanting her to hand at least one award Another member is the same boat as me, but 4 stone. Plus one member a pound away from target.
Would be lovely is for all three to achieve this.

Evening all, just dropping by with what I've eaten today...
Breakfast: 35g bran flakes (heB), clementine
Morning snacks: apple, pear, nectarine, 2x clementine
Lunch: asda snack pot (1.5 syns)
Afternoon snacks: alpen light (3 syns), 2xapricots
Dinner: bacon/squash/sweet potato stew
Evening snacks: muller light, 2x all butter sweet hearts (5.5 syns), melba toasts (4 syns)
Drinks: water, coffee/tea with heA milk
Really hope you don't all get bored with my daily menus - I know I post very similar stuff every day I just want to make sure I'm not slipping up anywhere. I picked up the all butter sweet hearts at asda this evening, and would definitely recommend - they're little pastries that are 55 calories each, so 3 syns for one or 5.5 syns for two. Went down lovely with my cup of tea this evening0 -

Yep! And we wouldn't want her any other way :rotfl: we love our little green friend :A
Was hoping for a good week BUT hubby and I had an 'us' day. We went out for an unplanned meal which was defiantly unSW. We had lemon meringue pie for pud and to be honest it was disgusting  I couldnt eat mine, I tried just the meringue but it was too sweet but the lemon was so yucky. Anyhoo we were so stuffed we've not eaten since :rotfl:.
Both crashed out when we got home though, we are so old :rotfl:
Line drawn and hope for the bestIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Rebster - I think having such similar food every day probably doesn't help with weight loss. My consultant always says it best to get as much variety as possible into your food. Personally, I would get very bored eating the same things over and over again.
Another EE day today:
B - porridge made with water, strawberries, grapes, 1 tsp honey (HEB + 1)
L - HM parsnip & apple soup (not synning the apple as there's only one small apple in it split 4 ways!)
D - Gammon, egg, chips, mushrooms, roasted onions & peppers
HEA will be milk in teas as usual
HEB - porridge
Syns - honey 1; weekend wine 12?

Morning all
nice and bright outside my office today and I'm the only one in. It looks set to stay that way all day!
Food plan:
breakfast: mocha made with milk from HeA plus 1syn of hot choc, porridge (HeB plus part HeA) and a tsp of jam (2 syns)
snack: easy peeler
lunch: jacket potato with baked beans and a salad (spinach, cucumber, baby plum tomatoes, beetroot and pickled onions) plus a yogurt (0.5syn)
snack: easy peeler
tea: savoury mince with rice (allowing 5syns as we make it with minestrone soup - sounds weird but it's lush!)
before bed: hot choc (2syn)
Total syns: 10.5
other drinks: tea, NAS squash and at least 1lt plain water
exercise: walk at lunch, minimum will be 1mile
must boil some eggs and pasta tonight to make up a pasta salad box for me for tomorrow afternoon as OH is coaching and we are going straight from Mum's (littlie and OH will have sandwiches or wraps)
tomorrow: breakfast will bacon and egg sandwich (will get some wholemeal rolls to take to mums and have that as my HeB) lunch will be pasta salad as noted above and for tea...I'm not sure as usually its OH's choice on a Saturday for family night but we have steaks in the freezer so I may just defrost those and use them up and make wedges to go with them
Must try and sort/tidy my sewing desk at some point on Saturday and clean the upstairs. That will stop me from snacking! Then on Sunday we are finally going to do all the stamping on the wedding invites and assemble themAlso must vacuum the house, put away the clean clothes and clean the upstairs bathroom! Loads to keep me occupied haha
