I enjoyed reading about heights and BMIs over the last few pages. Lois I'm 5'11" same as you so it's interesting that you felt very skinny at 13st as that's my heaviest and I look really bloated at that weight. I'm aiming for 10st (currently 12:4ish) but 10:4 is realistically a maintainable weight for me.

Wow, that's amazing - what size would you wear at your lightest weight, and what size are you now?

At 13st I was size 14/16, which most people wouldn't be happy with. I have big hands and feet so I presume I have big bones.

    Morning all :)

I took some stewing beef out of the freezer yesterday, intending to put a casserole together in the slow cooker this morning, then I remembered we're eating out tonight - doh! I guess it will be ok in the fridge till tomorrow. It's a bit chilly here at the moment so a warming casserole will be very welcome.

We're having paella tonight and I've no idea what the syns are like, the main ingredients are all free but I think oil is used and/or added so I'll probably allow about 5. There will be sangria too, but I'm only going to have 1 glass, then go onto slimline tonic. I decided to have a week off alcohol (day 4 today) but it's a Spanish themed evening so it's included in the price.

When I heard about the peanut muller lights I thought they sounded lovely, but I've gone off the idea after hearing so many bad reports! I stopped eating peanut butter last year, it used to make regular appearances on my food diaries but I decided it really wasn't worth the syns, so I stopped buying it. I don't miss it much. :rotfl:

Have a great weekend everybody. Onwards and downwards!

Personally, I would get very bored eating the same things over and over again.

Same here denise. That's why I was asking about keeping a record of meal plans. At the moment I've also got soup and fishcakes in the freezer plus JPs and eggs to give me plenty of variety for lunches before I start on LOs. Sorry to hear your DH isn't well, I thought you'd seemed a bit down lately:A. Hope he doesn't sabotage SW with being home all day?

Glad to hear that you and your DH had an 'us' day tie but so disappointing when the food isn't up to standard:mad:.

Distraction is definitely the way to go lush and you'll have a bonus of a tidy house at the end! Enjoy your day of freedom in the office.

I've done my meal plan for next week and will go off and shop soon. Only 5 meals for me and one carvery and another at Loch Fyne fish restaurant so may be some low syn options there.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB bread, kippers, HEA milk for drinks
L: soup or JP not decided yet
D: burger, SW chips, fried onions, tomatoes, peas or something else green
Syns: scrape of spread, squirt of HP sauce, weekend wine:D.

It's been bright here but forecast to rain all afternoon. Did get some washing out for a few hours to get some air through it though, just pulled it in as I can see the clouds heading this way. Put it in front of the big patio doors to catch the last of the sunshine. Love mornings like this. :D

    Use it up Friday...
Breakfast - Porridge (with water) and grated apple (HEB1)
Lunch - Salad with whatever meat is leftover in the fridge from DH's lunches this week. I know there's ham and pepperoni, but will have to weigh the latter to decide if it's worth it as it's 16 syns per 100g!
Dinner - Either leftover nacho feast or leftover curry. Had one portion of each left so DH will have the other.
Syns - Mini creme eggs (7.5) already eaten :o

HEA might be cheese, otherwise will have hot choc or skip. HEB2 will be hifi bars as I probably won't have syns left for pudding!
  • Hi everyone

Thanks BEG for the BNS soup idea, I've not made soup in ages so I reckon that might be the way to go

I wasn't keen on the peanut mullers either scarlet, I had high hopes for them as I love both peanut butter and caramel but ugh this had too much of a peanutty after taste for me. Skinny latte is still my fave of the muller lites - even more so as OH hates them so I know he won't pinch them :D

    Today's food:

B - puffed wheat, banana & an apple
L - chicken tikka subway salad
T - Chicken chow mein SW iceland meal with green beans

Syns: cheese on salad (5), sweet onion sauce (1.5), crisps (5)

Aiming to drink at least 1 litre of water per day until WI at least, I'm so dehydrated lately so I'm hoping this will help

    Have a good day everyone
  • Afternoon all!

Pilates was ok last night although I found it quite difficult. Will definitely keep going for next few weeks to give it a proper try. I've also booked in for Thighs, Bums and Tums! Will be doing a quick gym workout tonight as a last ditch effort before weigh in tomorrow!

    Menu:

    B - overnight oats (heb)
    L - subway chicken salad (2), quavers (5)
    S - Groovy bar (6)
D - pork stroganoff (2), rice, med veg and green beans
E - ff greek yoghurt, cherries

My target weight is 12st 4, which brings my BMI to 26.15 - overweight. Though I am very muscular, I feel if I go any lower, I would look ill.

    What do you think?

Plus I'm not happy as not lost weight on my boobs and they look bigger as I have lost weight the area below them. I have also lost weight above them which makes me feel the cold even more - my workplace is cold. Anything you can suggest? Can't swim, ride a bike and no time for gym.

I STS this week which I'm really cross with because I've had a fab week - I've stayed off the chocolate, crisps, cake and crap, my portion sizes have been spot on and I've put a lot of effort in :(

Don't be cross about a STS it's far better than a gain and no doubt, as long as you stick to plan, you'll have a good loss next week. It's better to look at your weight over a month rather than week on week.
