Maman - I do my menu plans on a Word document and then print out to hang on the fridge so I've got my menu plans going back several months (since I got this laptop - obviously lost the previous ones!). I sometimes look over some of the old ones for ideas so we don't end up eating the same things all the time.
Dini - well done on your huge 7lb loss this week. You're doing so well - over a stone in 3 weeks is amazing.
I'm at target and have been for about 5 years now and it seems to be getting more and more difficult to stay in target range - especially since DH has been at home all the time, currently off sick and been told it's unlikely he'll go back to work before his retirement date in May.
Didn't weigh again this morning after deciding I'm only going to weigh once a month so going to try really sticking to plan for the next couple of weeks before I weigh in again.
Had planned a Green day today but hadn't made any soup so have changed to an EE day:
B - 2 slices of toast, scrape of butter - HEB + 2
L - cooked chicken, beetroot, pickled onions, cornichons, HM onion chutney
D - HM pumpkin & spinach curry, rice. HM onion bharjis (1 syn each - so depends on how many I eat!)
Bought apples, cherries, grapes & strawberries today so a good selection of fruit to pick at if needed.

Lost 3.5lbs this week :j:j:j0

So last night went to group, felt ok, thoght i'd have a loss of 3 lbs, but in fact lost 7lbs, got my stone award and slimmer of the week. So thats 3 weeks in.
Week 1: 8lbs;
week 2: 3lbs
and this week 7 .
I know I've a long way to go, 7 more stone, and the more you have to lose the more you lose initially but even so I'm a bit gobsmacked.
I'm hoping for a 1lb loss next week cos I don't expect to keep this sort of momentum up. 2 at a time would be fine. Big losses kind of scare me.
Nice to see everyone else's stories, and glad to hear about Nandos syns. I love Nandos. especially the spiced fries. Ahem.
Cracking loss dini and well done on your 1 stone award :T:T:T. Forget about how far you have to go and just concentrate on each 7lbs/stone/ at a time and it will seem much less daunting. Great results so far in such a short timeI've only ever been to Nandos once, years ago. There isn't one near me so that's why.
I hear people talking about it a lot as a good option for SW.
I had medium spice when I was there BEG and remembered thinking I could have gone hotter as it wasn't that spicy at all.
I think they do lots of salads now as well and with the dressing on the side they would be low syn I'm sure.
Do let us no what you choose.
Thanks for this lantanna and for the info on the SW site.Good Morning
 Well done on your weight loss so far
Talking of Nandos I have been once DS treated me when he graduated from university :T I wasn't Healthy Eating then so probably scoffed loads of syns andfood :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Having such a hungry day today - don't know what's up with me! Already eaten my dinner - wouldn't normally have it until 7 at the earliest!!
I like the idea of keeping old meal plans - it's not something I do (my meal plans mostly exist in my head!) but one thing I often realise is I forget which recipes I've made previously, and more importantly I forget which ones I liked and which ones I didn't - maybe if I start writing it down I can highlight things I'd like to try again.0 -
I love this thread ~ everyone is so supportive, and funnily enough that's the main reason I don't post regularly! I feel like such an old moo if I don't personally respond to all the comments. It's alright if you can type quickly, and you have access to a computer all the time but it's not that easy for me.:o
Firstly I have to hop out of the pond and into the house without being seen, then I have to hop up on to the desk which is actually really high, whilst negotiating not being eaten by the dogs, and then if the tops down on the lap top I have no hope. It's also no joke typing with webbed feet.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes, hello to all those who remember me, and I'll hop back on in the Easter Holidays to let you know how it's going.:D
I'm definitely going back to doing no sugar. As of tomorrow that's it for me. I know it doesn't suit everyone, but I just can't do 'all in moderation'. I'm a pig. Well, no I'm a frog but you know what I mean; I'm greedy. I am going to do it. That's it.
Hopping off now. Bee good everyone :ASay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Thanks for lists tweets.
DH and I were just commenting today dini on the fact that we tend not to pick at food much now between meals and if we do it will probably be fruit most of the time (well for me it is). Previously everytime the kettle went on it would be biscuits/cake/scones and the like. Can totally see how I got as heavy.
Thanks June (and everyone) for your comments on Nandos. I'm always afraid of ordering chicken breast when I am out in case it is on the dry side. Had better stick with salad/rice side. Would find it very difficult to opt for the corn and leave the butter alone
Well done Mary on your fab loss. Any suggestions to help achieving 5lb loss  overdose on scan bran (not that it causes any 'movement' for me). Good luck in reaching your target
I started writing everything down in a big new book (bought specially for this purpose from the £shop) and I sort of give up after a little while and lose the plot.
Take care of yourself BelsyBoop. What a scary awful time you are having xx
Butternut squash soup is tasty Candyapple.
Fab loss tweets :j:j:j
I love your posts frogga - you always make me smile - thank you xx
