Great loss Hurdy :j :j :j
Great news on your friends DD too
Brilliant news on all fronts!:T
and well done to all other losers.:)- you're probably going to think me weird, but I had fat free fromage frais and some limes, so I improvised a 'sour cream'. Not quite exactly the same, but it sort of worked! :cheesy:
Not weird at all. I love cottage cheese with chilli as its cool blandness balances well with the spicy flavour. I don't use lentils in my chilli but meat is minimal by the time I've added all the Speed (onions, carrots, courgettes, mushrooms, peppers).
Starter and main (both fishy) were OK at lunch but let's not talk about the wine syns and choccy pudding. And I get to do it all again tomorrow.:o0 -
Morning,
Snow here today and its cold!
Beanie I dreamt the other night I woke up totally covered in hair!
Lovely to hear positive good news about the girl waiting for the transplant.
Did some batch cooking last night for the freezer, good to keep busy right now. Chicken Tikka and Chicken Curry.
Just had an omelette for Breakfast and ready to take on the day.
Not sure I'd be into a soup maker, I actually like the process of cooking a soup on the hob - gives me a bit of satisfaction watching it all come together. And as of the chopping of veg etc - there is nothing more therapeutic :rotfl: I think anyway.
Meg - Hope you are doing well0 -
Today. Having two A choices because I didn't end up having one yesterday. I know you're not supposed to roll HE choices over to the next day but as I do long term SP so could technically have a second A, I'm not that concerned.
Breakfast - Weetabix, berries, latte (A1/B1)
Lunch - Leftover chicken with some veggies that need using
Dinner - Nacho feast with lettuce cups (A2)
May skip my second B as I haven't been into the hifi bars lately and don't want a second helping of cereal. But we'll see.
Syns for pudding!blue_eyed_girl wrote: »I went to Sainsbobs too today. Hadn't realised they had the 25% off TU. Got a top which had 50% off then a further 25% off. Got some dark blue jeggings with 25% off. Tried some jeans on but wasn't totally happy with fit and am happy to leave them for the time being. I saw a twinpack of leggings june (around £10 I think) - are these the ones you bought? I debated about these but didn't know which size to go for - I thought the 12-14 would be a step too far down and yet the 16-18 would probably be on the baggy side. Do you know what type of fit they are? The jeggings I got were a 14 and are a very snug fit but comfortably snug iykwim.

I get the "premium" modal ones, £10 each. Really nice fit but I think they run pretty big, I'm a 16 in stretch jeans (need the stretch due to pear shape) and the 14s comfortably fit. I think the 12s I bought would fit my waist already but they're still too tight on the legs - I have large legs unfortunately! Which is why I don't wear leggings out of the house at any other time. :rotfl:
I love that the 25% off is on top of the other deals. Sadly nothing good for me in our clearance section, although I did pick up a gorgeous newborn sleepsuit for a friend's baby (due in a few weeks) for £1.87 after all the discounts!0 -
Morning all
Could someone with access to the SW website please check the syn value for some yogurt for me? I've been eating them since November assuming they're free but my curiosity has got the better of me and as I'm determined to lose my weekend gain before Monday it would be good to know.
The first ones are very similar to the WW dessert recipe yogurts.
The details per 100g are:
Protein - 4.5g
Carbs - 8.7g (of which 8.6g of sugar )
Fat - 0.5g (sat fat 0.3g)
Calories - 59
The other one is natural and comes in a large container (500g)
The details per 100g are:
Protein - 4.7g
Carbs - 5.3g (sugar - 4.8g)
Fat - 0.1g
Calories - 41
Right, I'll be back in a mo after I've had a catch up with the thread.
Thanks, LL:)Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
Had a lovely day in France yesterday but completely off plan (as has most of this week been).
Having a Green day today in the hopes of managing to stay on plan, as I can have 2 HEAs & 2 HEBs.
B - mushroom omelette
L - WM pitta (HEB1) stuffed with ham (HEB2) and salad
D - jacket potato, baked beans, cheese (HEA1)
HEA2 will be milk in tea throughout the day
Have some fruit left to snack on, although not much left - need to do some "normal" shopping tomorrow. Off to check my menu plan to sort out the shopping list.

Lois - sorry didn't see your post until after I'd posted. Have just checked both the above, with an assumption that there is no free food in either:
The first one works out at 3 syns per 100g and the 2nd one works out at 2 syns per 100g (or 10.5 syns for the whole tub).
Sorry, neither of them are Free.

Thanks for checking Denise, I've obviously been in denial!

I think selecting "no free food" is incorrect, as that setting basically just ignores the macros and returns the syns based on the 20 calories = 1 syn rule. So something like a Mullerlight will be around 5 syns per pot doing it this way when we know they're free.
Lois, selecting yoghurt as the free allowance, the first one is half a syn per 100g and the other works out as free.0 -
Interesting to read about everyone's target weight. I'm 5'11" and according to the BMI charts the heaviest I should be is 12.5 stone but I know that would be too thin. When I got to target I managed to get down to 13st and I was too thin - I had deep recesses behind my collar bones and you could play a tune on my ribs! I have big legs and my biggest disappointment was that they were still the same shape at that weight with no definition round the ankles, and I don't think that losing more weight would have made any difference. I'll be happy to not be obese, (but still be classed as overweight) which means anything below 15 stone.
Sorry to hear about your warring parents Lantanna, I've been through it myself so I know what it's like. The only advice I can offer is to try to remain impartial, and let them know that you want to be supportive but you don't want to know details about their 'ahem' personal lives. They will, hopefully, sort themselves out at some point and in an ideal world it would be an amicable parting, but I'm not sure there is such a thing.
Tweets - good luck with the soup maker. A few of my friends have them and rave about how quick and easy they are, but like others have said, cooking soup on the hob is so easy I don't really see the point. I was in the coop one day last summer and noticed they had Heinz tomato soup on special offer, cheaper than I can get it from the cash and carry, so I bought 6 cans. The lady at the checkout gave me a quizzical look and I said something about it being a 'soup kind of day' (not wanting to say I was planning to sell it to my customers) and she started singing the praises of her soup maker. :rotfl:
Anyway, enough rabbiting on! Have a good day everyone.
