Hi  back at work today
, not eaten much and in a very bad PMT mood  beware all work colleagues :rotfl:
I remember finding Mrsmcawber on a different thread Mary, she'd moved back to England and had a baby. Not sure about her weight loss journey, I think she was still on it..
Hope you're ok Lantanna x
I'm very jealous of all you tall ladies, I'm only 5'3.. my target last time was 11 stone(size 12 snug), think I managed it for 1 day before I stuffed myself silly again and gained it all back!
Hope everyone is ok.. off to look at the dechox, not sure I'd manage it though!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Thanks guys
I'm ok just dealing with a nightmare on the homefront! Warring parents is not good at any age. I am hearing things etc that I don't really want to hear about.
I didn't go to class last week and I've decided I'm not going tonight. I really could do with the £5 in my pocket right now and my head is not really in it.
I'm still trying though and aiming for maintaining or a small loss through this crazy time.
I weighed this morning and then added 2 lbs on day / evening difference and I'm down1 lb please Shala.
I'll just continue to weigh in on a Tuesday myself for a bit. I may return to class at some stage who knows just taking a little break for now. No need to make any real decisions just have a break from the classes for a while.
I'll see this challenge out and then set a small target for the next one.
Shala I'm not much above you I'm 5.4 well 5.4.6 to be exact. Lowest was 10 stone 5 and I have decided 11 stone is a good weight for me and that's were I am trying to get back too!0 -

Hello all.
Thank you for the congrats and reporting in with a much more normal -1lb please Shala.
It's interesting reading of heights, weights and targets - I'm 5ft 6, currently 13st 6lbs and comfortably in 16s and not far off 14s. Started at 17st 7lbs  last August and originally set my target at 12.5 stone but revised it to 11.5 to try and get nearer to a healthy BMI. Thing is that even when I was a (lot) younger, fitter and slimmer I've never been a 'light' type and thinking back to when I was at about 10st I looked dreadful - hollow faced and scrawny. Mind you, I wasn't exactly leading a healthy lifestyle then which may have had something to do with it!
My much loved but very blunt late friend used to say that I had country - read sturdy - looks rather than town looks :rotfl: and yes, I am broad shouldered with large hands and wrists, ample boobage, hips ( definitely childbearing) and I can't imagine that I would ever get to below 11st let alone 10st and manage to stay there...but 11.5 leaves me in the over weight category of BMI?
I'll just be thrilled if I ever get in size 12 trousers - considering that I was rapidly heading for size 20 not so long ago - that has to be a win doesn't it?Vanity sizing or not!!!!;)0 -
Yesterday/today is going to be a bit lentil-tastic.
Only had 125g lean beef yesterday, so I eked it out with lentils to make my chilli (and the verdict was - very nice:)).
- you're probably going to think me weird, but I had fat free fromage frais and some limes, so I improvised a 'sour cream'. Not quite exactly the same, but it sort of worked! :cheesy:
Going to convert that to a raita tonight instead of yoghurt, as I don't have any. Need to use the stuff up!
No syns yesterday or today (so far), but will need them tomorrow and Thursday.Keep reading books!

Hi everyone
My head's back in the game today I think. I've had a bit of a rubbish week food-wise so not expecting great things at WI tomorrow. But I'm plodding on .. have crunched on carrot sticks today and drank lots of water .. trying to flush out the bad toxins from my bad food this past weekHugs to anyone struggling - I know that some days I just want to cry and eat crisps till I burst and shut myself away from everyone so I know how it feels
Well done orlao for SOTW and well done all with losses this week big or small
Food today:
B - cherry bakewell porridge plus an apple and a cup of tea
L - chicken tikka subway salad (5 syns cheese, 1.5 syns sauce)
T - Beef hotpot (cheating and using a WW meal so 5.5 syns) and spring greens
It's day 7 of no chocolate, unfortunately I can't even look at a picture of anything chocolatey at the moment without wanting to eat it. I'm hoping that will pass. I'd do the dechox if Easter Sunday wasn't in March as I'm planning on being a bit gluttonous that day
Love the idea of bulking out a chilli with lentils wishus I often use grated carrot to bulk mine out if I don't have a lot of mince and that works a treat too. Might have to try the lentils as well
Have a nice evening everyone

Orlao I was a size 20 / 22 at 16stone 13 when I started and 5.4 & 1/2. I'm 12 stone 10 right now and a size 14s are starting to get loose on me again. 10 stone 5 saw me a size 10 on the bottom and 12 on the top.
I'm the same boobage, big hands and feet, but medium wrists and slim hips.
It is so very different for everybody. I hate the way magazines etc seem to have all of the celebrities etc around the 9 stone mark. I don't believe it because in real life even slim people or people who appear slim can weigh a heck of a lot more.
I would really urge everybody not to compare to anybody elses weight as its not comparable at all and will only annoy you and get you down.
Been there done that. I never disclose my weight to anybody (present company excepted) because no matter what it is 10.5 or 12 stone something people don't believe I weigh as much as I do.
Day 7 no chocolate here too, and I have to confess I haven't thought about it once. But then there is that much else going on it is probably no surprise.0
