Thanks maman for the advice and encouragement - hopefully you're right and this is just a temporary plateau. I actually found it quite motivating to look at the chart this evening - I had myself convinced everyone else was losing way more than me, but I've realised that's not really the case.
My target for this Challenge Rebster was 8lbs - as of tonight's wi my Challenge so far is +1lb - my worst EVER:(:o:(. I haven't a clue what is so different this time

I haven't settled on target yet but possibly maybe another half stone(ish). Going to buy countdown next week and I will just see what happens at the end of that. So far that's my plan beaniejust for record I'm 5'7" and tonight weighed in at 11st 10.5lb and wearing mainly 16s with few 14s.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the birthday wishes, had a lovely day. Great losses on the chart, well done shala for your effort even though you're not very well.
BEG I am also 5'7 and I weighed myself the other day and I'm 11.10 at the moment, when I was at target I was 10.7 but I was up and down, up and down a few lbs all the time, so I think when we're back I would aim for 11. That being said though, my SW bestie is also 5'7 and she is at target at 11'12, we both wear 12's mainly, 14 up top, but we're just different body shapes.
I don't really like using the BMI chart as I don't think it's realistic for all different bodies, so go with how you feel in yourself and in your clothes. There's nothing more disheartening that's being a few lbs away from target and struggling. Good luck with the countdown!
rebster your food diary looks good today, keep plodding!
selement good for you doing the park run! I agree, I would go get your WI done first, you don't want to put pressure on yourself to try and wiz around the course, especially if it's a 1/2 drive back to class! If your like me, I get a bit of a buzz when completing challenges so you'll probably be buzzing around the course for at least 20mins when you cross the finish line!! Good luck!!!!
Hope everyone has a good week, can't believe it's half term already! This year is flying in, fingers crossed for more good losses this week!

Morning,
Just passing through, things aren't great with me so not in the best of forms. Debating doing SW at home again due to £ for one. Not sure what I'm doing about tonight, weighed this morning so I will be back in the morning to give my result for the chart either way
Hope you are all good xx0 -
Good morning everyone,
Lovely sparkly cold day outside with gin blue skys, my favourite type of winter morning.
Happy belated birthday wishes to those who had birthdays, and well done SOTW Orla.
Beg I was just discussing my target weight with my DH. I'm not sure of mine either. I'm 5 8" and I weighed in this morning at 11 stone 9lbs. I think I'm going to aim for another stone. It's interesting how body shape plays a part in size of clothes. 14 are becoming a bit loose now, but I'm not really at a 12 either. I do have a pair of M & * jeans in a 12 which I can wear quite easily even allowing for the clean jeans test! However if I tried on a pair in Ne*t for example I wouldn't have a hope.
Feeling a lot happier today, as I didn't sabotage my week thanks for the support here and on the cutting down thread. Shala sorry your not 100% hope your feeling better soon. Thanks again for the chart. Reporting a loss of -2 1/4 lbs.
Off to body balance this morning, hopefully this will help focus the mind, especially the meditation part.
Thanks
Arkers x

Dinner ended up being sushi. Think I made good choices, apart from a katsu roll as they're my favourite. But didn't have any other syns yesterday so should even out, I hope. Also ended up having soda water and lime in the pub, looked like G&T to everyone else. Not that I care if people know I'm not drinking as I rarely do anyway.
Bought new leggings this morning as I like the Sainsbury's ones and they have 25% off clothing this week. Got the next size down which I don't think will fit yet, but my current ones are definitely getting loose around the waist. I only wear them to weigh in so it's not that they're worn out! Also ordered a few tops online to collect so I can cycle out some more of the larger things.
Today...
Breakfast - Berries and granola (B)
Lunch - Turkey salad
Dinner - Piri chicken and Mediterranean veg. About 3 syns.
Snacks - Boiled egg, apple, orange
Not feeling like my A choice today, but may make a hot chocolate with it later.0 -
Thanks for the chart Shala.
Checking in this week with 1lb loss. Little disappointed with it at the time but at least it's a loss so will just keep chipping away at it. Xx0 -
:T on losses and don't be disappointed if they're not huge as they all matter.Morning,
Just passing through, things aren't great with me so not in the best of forms.
I guessed as much when you didn't post yesterday lantanna. Do keep in touch whatever you decide and we'll help any way we can.:A
For those debating targets, I'd agree it has to be something you can maintain but try not to be disheartened in the last stone/half a stone/few pounds. I lost 3.5 stone in 10 months to get to target BUT I've just checked my book and:- I took 5 months to lose the last stone
- 3 months for the last half stone
- 10 weeks for the last 3lbs:eek:
Had a SW breakfast (Shreddies) but out for an off plan lunch so no menu from me today.;)0 -
I've had terrible insomnia these last few days and filled my time reading back through the old Sw threads! What ever happened to MRSMCAWBER? I remember reading her posts at the time and being inspired! It is lovely to ready some of the posts back then and then catching up here seeing you at target or near your targets!
I feel very fluey today and my arms/wrist hurt for so much knitting yesterday!
