Hi everyone another 1\2 lb loss for me today, was kind of expecting to stay the same after last weeks loss. I weigh myself naked......but that's at home lol!! Wouldn't strip off in class, crazy, but each to their own I suppose. Potentially dangerous week this week as its half term and I've got a few lunch dates so again this week if I can sts I would be happy. Then the following week going to try and keep to under 100 syns for the week if I can. 15 weeks til holiday and counting!!
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D
  • Evening everyone

Hope you have all enjoyed the weekend - whatever you have been up to.

Happy Birthday Cheese - go on and have a piece of my cake (its syn free ;)) :bdaycake:

Well done to everyone reporting losses :T. Feeling a bit anxious re the weigh in tomorrow even though the only actual naughtiness this week has been my meal out the other day. All other eatings have been within plan. Only time will tell ...

    Meals today have been

    Breakfast - fruit

Lunch - 2 big bowls of hm broth with bacon pieces (lushness in a bowl) followed by hm mango/yoghurt lollies (approx 1 syn)

Dinner - chicken jambalaya followed by a huge pear

Still to decide on HEs and many syns. DH found some M&S Opertta (like Ferrero Rocher) leftovers from Christmas coming up to best before date. Checked and they are 4 syns each

Really wintry out there tonight . I hate it :(

I have to take Mum for drs appt in the morning and so not looking forward to it.

    Happy valentines/Birthdays all :A

STS this week which I'm pleased with. Hopefully this week I will be more settled.
Tummy issues griping at the moment and have been last couple of days. Fed up with the constant pain :(. Also got pounding head :(

Having a lovely Valentine's Day (not!), last saw hubby at 6am this morning and he's just walked through the door at 7.30pm  hate when he works weekends :(

Been extra stressful couple of weeks as son managed to write off the car! No one else involved, skidded on oil? Or something and slammed into curb. Did a lot of damage, buckled wheel, ripped exhaust and broke shock so would cost more to repair than cars worth. Hubby has had to run him to work and wait up til gone midnight to pick him up again so he's shattered :(. Finally got another car so boy is back on wheels and hubby can go to bed early :D.

Hubby just said he would have been home earlier but had to go bale a colleague out. The numpty had to clean the local 111 service server and managed to shut them down . Hubby spent 3 hours putting it all back together as the numpty had decided to dismantle it, what a plonker :rotfl:

Came home with half a massive chocolate cake that morrisons had given him :D. Glad I have tummy pain so won't be tempted (at least til pain goes :rotfl:)

Oops sorry for the essay :o
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Evening all - been lurking over the past few days, not had a chance to post but well done to all the losers :)

It's a STS for me this week. Not hugely surprised as had a few sneaky peeks at the scales earlier in the week and could see things weren't moving in the right direction. I am quite disappointed though - can honestly say I've been 100% on plan all week - even last night when me and OH got the M&S Valentine's dine in deal - I got the strawberries for dessert! And have made a real effort to be more active this week - went swimming twice and tried to do a bit more walking - not loads, but certainly more than I have been doing. I just feel like my weight won't shift at the moment and I don't know where I'm going wrong :(

Good you had a loss gpuk, always feels good when it's unexpected:T.

Keep posting rebster, and maybe we can find out if you are going wrong anywhere. It's likely you're not though and have just hit a plateau. It happens, but if you stay on plan it will come good. Promise.:)

Doesn't look too greedy to me mary, at least it's on plan.

Hope you have half term and a less stressful week tie.:)

Pork roast was yummy and I've loads left to have with lunches this week. I think I'll cut some up in strips and freeze for some stir fries too.

Hope the GP appointment for mum goes well beg. Amazing that you're still finding Christmas chocolate!
  • Do any of you guys have thoughts on weighing in befor eor after exercise? Next Saturday I am considering attempting parkrun (for those who dont know this is a free event held in quite a few large UK parks, and is a 5k run. It's at 9 am saturdays). My group is at either 8:30 or 10:30 saturday morning, so is it better to get up super early for the weekend and weigh in first or weigh in all sweaty and gross after the run (I use run loosely, I am terribly unfit and this will be my first time attempting it so might be more of a brisk walk!). Neither answer seems ideal.....(I like my weekend lie ins! Also I live about half an hour away from my group and said parkrun)

I've agreed to do a 5k in the summer so thought I'd better get practicing a little

    It’s still Baltic here!

That’s great, BelsyBoop (and well done for the footie too) and Gpuk.

What a week you’ve had, TIE Glad your son’s safe.

Also glad that you enjoyed your time with your mum, beanie.

I’m sending positive vibes to all of you who need them.

My DH bought me a big box of chocs for Valentine’s day “because I haven’t bought you chocolates for years.” I reminded him that I was being careful about what I was eating and he replied that I could have one each day. I reminded him that I’d signed up for the BHF Dechox for all of March, that there are one 2 weeks left this month and that there are 24 chocs in the box. I told him he could share but he replied, “No, I bought them for you!” I did manage to persuade him to have one, however. You’ve got to love him, though, lol. We’ll see how we go.

    Breakfast: ½ grapefruit, hexb toast
Lunch: Batchelor’s Pasta ‘n’ Sauce cheese, leek & ham (1), beetroot, pickled onions, apple & banana
Snack: 1 orange charm chocolate & 1 strawberry dream chocolate (7)
Dinner: fillet steak (my Valentine’s gift to DH!), roast potatoes, green beans, carrots, WW pear & apple crumble yogurt
Snack: will be 2 cream crackers with laughing cow light and tomatoes

Hoping that I’ll have lost when I step on the scales in the morning – I feel that I have behaved well enough. I did have one wee NSV on Friday. I am part of the SOLD study in relation to my cancer treatment and I have to go every year to give a blood sample for this (1 hour drive each way for a 10 min appointment lol). On Friday the nurse commented that she thought I had lost weight since she saw me last year. You have no idea how good that made me feel!

    Fingers crossed for us all.

  • Well done all the losers and SOTW:T:T
Just a quick post to say +0.5lb for last week please Shala.
Was looking better this week after a couple of not so good weeks, but just had a rather greedy weekend - just don't seem to be able to stay on track since xmas. Maybe once the warmer weather gets here....
    Have a good week all:)
