  • I can't believe the lengths some people go to in order to try and reduce the number on the scales. I am very large in the chest department and I wouldn't be seen dead out of the house in a non wired bra let alone no bra!

I just wear the same leggings and vest top each week and take my boots off. I also don't eat before group at 10.30.

Reporting a 3lb loss please shalaQuite pleased with that after the last two weeks. This week probably won't be quite so good as have promised DD a treat out in half term but if I join the gym at the end of the week and do some swimming I might be able to avert a disaster!

    Menu:
    B - 2 x hifi (heb), clementine
    L - subway chicken salad (2)
D - mozerella meatball lasagne (hea), salad, dressing (0.5), eton mess (2)
S - got to go to the shops to post a parcel after my new dishwasher arrives so am going to choose a proper chocolate bar to spend my remaining 10.5 syns on!

Just a quick post today, 1.5lb loss for this week. It was flickering between that and 2, settled on the lower - boo. But I'm just 2lb away from my challenge target now so that should be achievable even with "star week" due soon.

ETA: About clothes, I wear leggings to weigh in which is just about consistency as they're what I happened to be wearing when I joined. Although I normally never wear leggings out unless I'm just running to the shop for milk or something, so not sure why I did that day. But I arrive early (have to as on social anyway) and get changed into them if it's too cold or wet to wear them there. Like today!

1lb loss this week :) Happy with that! OH and I have decided to give up takeaway for lent. I'm not sure how well this will go considering we usually have it at least once a week.... if we succeed I'm sure it'll be great for weight loss though!

Heh, well yes, the result was good, but I went off piste a bit during the week. Most of it was as per plan but there were 2 rather flexible syns days. I balanced it by not having syns on some other days so I suppose it worked out. :)

A number of us do that every week deliberately. I start with a bank of 105 syns, use about 80 or more at weekends and then use the few left for sauces and gravy during the week. I don't find it difficult to have syn free meals all week, it just means putting off treats for the weekend. As I'm at target I can relax a bit but I've used the syn bank from Day 1 and it works well for me.

I thought you'd be fed up tweets. Happy Faces here though:D.

I made myself fishcakes for lunch. I used the recipe in the magazine but tweaked it to use what I had in so a tin of salmon (that's been in the cupboard for years that I wanted to use up) and some red onions but otherwise followed it. They were very tasty with some beetroot and cornichons. I've got some left for tomorrow and more in the freezer. Mine are free as I didn't bother dusting with flour. Made a big pot of lentil soup too so I'll portion that up for some lunches.

Definitely off plan tonight as we're having the M&S Valentine's meal early (well done for saying no beg.).

It’s Baltic here today and snowy. Brrrrrr!

Sorry you’re not at your best, beanie. I quite like the mini eggs – the Galaxy ones at any rate – two are plenty for me as they are quite sweet, and good value for 3 syns. The first time I bought them I spent a few minutes trying to peel the gold paper off and being quite frustrated until I realised that it isn’t paper but gold ‘paint’. Ha ha.

Hello, Gpuk, welcome back. You’ve made a good start.

Well done, dini, june, selement and musogirl.

Commiserations, tweets. I just heard LVG saying you have no more full backs and he may have to play a 30 year old!!!!! Well done to your mob, maman – you’d have been fairly happy whatever the outcome though, I think. As for us – we snatched a draw from the jaws of victory  so I’m not best pleased.

    I’m still behaving!
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and hexb soldiers
Lunch: hm tomato & basil soup (1 ½)
Snack: fun size Maltesers for a change at football (5)
Dinner: bacon chop, hash brown (5), broccoli and tomato, slice of melon and a clementine
Snack: will be 2 rice cakes (3) with hexa Philly light, tomato & cucumber

Keep warm and good luck all.

I cannot believe the lengths that some people go to to get weighed.

  • Enjoy your meal maman . We got the lamb shanks from Lidl today so we have just had them with sweet potato wedges, piles of roasted veggies - cost me 5 syns but was well worth it. :D

Well done to today's losers :T:T:T

Have had 7 syns so far today so now wondering what I am going to spend the rest on. :D
