shala - I occasionally think it would be nice to have a cold refreshing glass of it but it's not too bad. I have realised that I was using it as a snack replacement though as I am snacking a lot more now.0

Hi guys, just to let you know that I'm bowing out of this challenge. My head isn't in the right place so going to take a couple of weeks "off" and then start again. Hope to see you in the next challenge!0

I'm bouncing in with a 3lb loss this week please :j
It has been hard going this week. The first few days were hard because I made them hard. I'm more settled now but mother bloody nature has decided to throw a spanner in the works  so I'm having an "eat what I want" lunch but once I've got that out the way, I'll be back on track againthis is a new one on me - usually it's a two day binge but this time I'm going for a one meal binge. I still get to eat what my body is craving but just enough to satisfy it
Please don't judge me for this. I suffer terribly for two days of every month. It's the best way I know how to make me feel better. Just dashing in with a quick post and to say  to the new people who have joined us over the last few days.
Well done to everyone reporting losses and hang on in there to STSers and gainers - we will get there.
Hope you can find some support Arkers to help you through this difficult time. Feel free to get things out here - it all affects our weightloss at the end of the day. Take care.
I remember the red dress too lantanna
We had meal out yesterday with Mum, DB and SiL (off plan shall we call it/flexi-synned? You lot can decide ). Steakdiane sauce
chips
mushrooms
tomato
peas
bread and butter pudd with custard . I was very good before this and was back to being good once I got home
Took Mum out this morning to commemerate Dad's anniversary and afterwards we ended up at M&S (as you do). She worked very hard at trying to get me to have something to eat but I managed to swerve that one. Then she tried to buy DH and I the Valentines Meal Deal - well I would have found it difficult to choose the healthy choices and probably would not have drunk the alcohol (I know there are certain people here who will find that difficult to comprehend
) so as nice as the offer was - I didn't take here up on it.
Might treat DH to some nice lamb shanks for the weekend - think Lidl have them on offer for £1.99 each (used to be 5 syns each I think but worth it imo).
Massive hugs to everyone having a tough time xx
Hope you all have a lovely weekend - whatever you are up to (I think we have snow forecast). I have been sorting stuff for fleabay and preparing listings so that's what I'll be doing - who said romance was dead :rotfl:

Thanks Everyone,
Don't wish to get melodramatic, but being able to "talk" freely under a pseudonym is restorative in itself. Shala, absolutely right about that one re affluence and class.
Maman I know you have mentioned drink before, I think I'll pop over to the cutting down thread as I have seen your posts on there before. At the moment I may need a bit of support on this, do you think this would be ok?
Cheese - thanks so much about for your input, I could have written this post. I love the advice re letting go of the black dog leash!!
Lantanna sorry you have this too, thank you so much for helping
June - I don't wish to sound patronising, but how brave giving up your job and moving on to pastures new. I get this, I was unfortunate enough to have suffered an injury which meant that I had to give up my last job. The injury happened at work, but the whole thing was a nightmare and still impacts me today.
Tweets thanks for the huggle and reading, I'm giving Tug extra smooths I'm sure you get that!
Just lifting my head above the parapet Hurdy so sorry about your friend's loss the fact that the lady was very overweight is a wake up call, how sobering and sad. I hope a crumb of comfort can come from your friendship, your friend sounds lucky to have you.
Going to the supermarket with a list and not going down the danger aisles;).
Love Arkers x

Haven't been on for a while. Not sure why, but here I am now!
Last week (4 Feb) I lost 1lb and this week (11 Feb) I have lost a further 2 lbs. Was disappointed with the former, but really pleased with this week's loss as it's star week (or as DH refers to it, shark week).
We're moving house on Wednesday so the plan for this week is to eat as much from the chest freezer as possible, so I can defrost and clean it properly before we move. I've been having some really random combinations, but mostly on plan.
It's also my birthday on Sunday (yes, V-Day!) so I'm off plan and have bought the Waitrose dine in for £20 offer. I must be craving carbs because I've bought a cheese and caramelised onion tart for starter, beef wellington main and a chocolate tart for dessert! Oh well, it's one meal and it's my birthday and I really don't care.We may not have it all together, but together we have it all
