  • Didn't mean to start a huge debate about consultants. its not the weight of my consultant that bothers me it's more the fact that he's obviously given up with the plan and lost faith with it and is therefore less than enthusiastic and can even be discouraging rather than any issue with size or weight itself. hope that clarifies what I meant as I think enthusiasm and knowledge is more important than anything else. I think it's just a bit hit and miss with consultants sometimes.

First visit to meeting was good. The welcome pack has lots of ideas and recipes, looks very interesting. It was mobbed! They weighed the existing members so they had the option to leave, then the meeting/welcome talk and newbie weigh in. I stayed to the end as I had bought raffle tickets, and won some fruit!

7.30 meeting lasted till 9, then walked home and recounted it all to DH and SIL who were too scared to come with me lol. Food shopping tomorrow, tomorrow's plan is ....

BF omelette with whatever veg is about
    Lunch not sure, salad maybe
Dinner baked trout with potato and veg

Only downside is I have loads to lose, need to keep focused on interim target to lose 10%.

Can I please ask a question about overnight oats? Syn wise is it better to use Muller Lite yoghurt or natural low fat yoghurt?

    Today's menu
    B melon, grapes and pineapple
L chicken salad and Muller Lite yog
    D chicken curry
    S banana, Apple and satsuma

    Drinks water and green tea

Using Muller Light yoghurt means it's Free, low fat yoghurt usually has a syn value but as they vary you would need to check how many syns, either on line or ask on here.

Have decided I'm having a Green day today but not really decided what I'm having yet other than cauli cheese with bacon bits & SW chips for dinner tonight! Need to go shopping as haven't got any fruit or veg, other than the cauli for tonight's dinner.

Will post my menu plan later once I've decided on what to have!

Have only been dipping in recently as really busy but hopefully things are beginning to slow a bit now - just 3 lots of bedding to get washed, dried & put away then I'll have caught up with it all and things can get back to normal.

Apologies for not welcoming all the newbies & returners earlier :hello:.

Also should have said Happy New Year everyone (better late than never!).

  • Hi All,

Fantastic loses starting to roll in - so well done to everyone so far! Hello to all the New people :j

NewMe Well done for going to a class by yourself, you sound like you enjoyed it! :T

    Meal plan today:
B - FF yog and Apple
L - Pepper Omlette and tomato salad
D - grilled chicken and veg skewers with salad
S - still keeping them for the cooking oil probably being used in L+D
Still struggling with my HExA+B - options are quite limited out here, don't drink milk, cheese is almost non-existent and the bread is all mainly baguettes or sweet coconut or banana bread. What I'd give for a salted caramel HiFi bar :rotfl:
So I've not having them but I don't think this is advisable???

On the plus side - day 5 of cut down on diet coke, I have reduced from 4 cans a day to 2
 I know this will still seem ridiculously high for non fizzy drinkers, but this is a start for me.
Swapped to soda water for my fizzy fix!

    Have a great day peeps!

Have finally decided on my menu plan for today - as I said earlier it will be a Green day:

    B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB1)
L - LO sweet chilli noodles which has salady bits already in it, will also have some salad on the side as there isn't much left! Will include some cornichons, pickled onions & beetroot for extra Speed. Sweet Chilli sauce 1.5 syns.
D - cauliflower cheese (crispy bacon bits for DH), SW chips. Cheese sauce HEA2 + 4.5 syns. More salad on the side but without the pickles! DH will just have lettuce as he's not keen on salad with a meal but does like a "green salad" on the side.

HEA1 will be milk in tea throughout the day.

Still have another HEB to use so may have some crackers with a scrape of butter for supper if I want/need something but otherwise will just miss it out.

    Denise
