More new people, hello!
I think it used to be on the old green plan (I followed red last time, so can't remember green!) but not now as far as I know. Not sure which plan you're following since you did mention second HEs.
I'm doing EE - I only had half my HEA for brekkie so I think that was where the second HQ was coming from and confusing the matter.
I'll count is as my HEB today and won't in future, I saw someone mention in when I was browsing the internet for food ideas - so it was probably an old comment.0 -

That put the lid on any idea of going to the classes here then LOL (as she was plump).
This made me laugh, but my former consultant gets members to do the leaflet drops in exchange for free weeks. So not necessarily an indication of the leader. It's good body magic!
My new consultant is on the chubby side, she's been a consultant for a few years. But I don't know what she weighed previously, or if she wants to lose any more. I know for me, I'm perfectly happy being a size 14 normally (currently a 16, so not far off) as it's still MUCH better than the 28 I was a decade ago! I'm only trying to go smaller than that now due to previously mentioned health reasons.0 -
Hello all, stuck to my meal plan today and trying not to crave something sweet after my tea
After my hot chocolate I'll finish on 14 syns. I've also drunk a litre of water, which is one of my resolutions.
Tomorrow's plan:
B - Muller light, apple
D - Quinoa and roast veg (as today)
T - Chicken and veg soup w/ HEB bread
Just waiting for the second Corrie then off to bed - being back at work is exhausting!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hello newcomers.
Wow, some of you have had amazing journeys! Well done.
I've had a wee tweak to today's menu. I had turkey left over so had that instead of defrosting prawns for my pitta bread. I also stirred a half teaspoon of pesto into the mayo (shared between DH and I), so I think that'll be 9 syns altogether. Also realised I hadn't planned hexb, so I'll have toast and a tsp jam later (1 syn). I had 2 crackers (4 syns - I think, I've forgotten what we agreed so long ago) with hexa cheese and tomatoes in the afternoon.
Anyway, I'm posting a 2lb loss to start the campaign. I drew a big FAT line under the festive increase and I'm making a fresh start.
Tuesday's menu
Breakfast: hexb toast & jam (1)
Lunch: 2 LMcC roro sausages, beans, fried egg, tomato & mushrooms
Dinner: Chinese chicken kebab with red pepper, water chestnuts, spring onions (1.5), rice
Snacks: 2 dried apricots, hexa cheese, kiwi fruit, grapesSewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
BEG, we will get to target in 2016 and so will Beanie
Oh I think we might have our little mini sub-group then eh lantanna - the more the merrier :rotfl: Hope that both you and beanie are back in the zone very soon. Good luck to you both. Oh on the point of nibbling whilst watching tv - what about knitting/crocheting or sewing. I have also used the adult colouring books which seem to be all over the place atm. Anything to distract from putting things in my mouth.moneyistooshorttomention wrote: »:rotfl: at the "Clean Jeans Test"....as someone who is lurking along on this thread. I finally got my act together to go on a diet - so have dug out my old Slimming World books and been on it for a few days now and "think" I might be noticing a marginal difference to how fat I feel already.:).
I've got a pair of clean jeans to one side that I will be using to test by (rather than clambering on the scales - I think I'd horrify myself too much - as I'm assuming I'm around 10.5 stones - but fear being shocked to find its even worse than that). My "proper" weight is 8.5 stones.
So - those "clean jeans" basically swim on me and are too big at my proper weight. Right now - I can get them up over my hips - but the zip is several inches away from being able to do it up. I guess I must have lost a little bit of weight over last few weeks anyway without trying - as there was a point recently where I couldn't even get them up over my hips.:rotfl:
********
Little tip I just tried out - ie of rolling strawberries in Greek yogurt and freezing them. Havent got strawberries - but I rolled some frozen blackberries in my 0% greek yogurt I have in and froze them for a few hours and thought "That was quite nice - will try that again".
EDIT; Just read the comment from someone whose consultant keeps on putting on weight. Glad someone else finds a less-than-slim consultant offputting....and I had a New Year leaflet drop through the door from the local consultant here and I caught sight of her walking away. That put the lid on any idea of going to the classes here then LOL (as she was plump).
Welcome aboard moneyistooshorttomention
I did some leafleting for my Consultant last week - I maybe gave a better impression now than I would have when I first started coming up for two years ago:rotfl:
Great tip re the strawberries in yoghurt nom nom

Hi hoping someone can help. I am new to this forum. I am 28, 5 foot 2 and weigh 9 and a half stone. I would like to get back down to 8.5/9 stone. I've done slimming world for two days, not classes or online, just working out from the Internet what I can and can't do using the easy plan. I feel like I'm eating more than I normally do but using syns can still have crisps such as quavers and a chocolate biscuit! I was guessing I could have 15 syns. Is that too many for the amount I want to lose? Is slimming world more designed if you have a lot to lose? Thanks so much in advance.0

Right folks it's time for me to fess up
Tonight's weigh-in resulted in a gain of 2.5lbs. Not good but overall it was a 2lb up over the two weeks hols so not complaining too much - could have been much much worse.Shame I'm starting the Challenge with a +
Well line has been drawn and we are starting afresh from this week.
Tonight's classes were buzzing. Twenty seven new members over two classes. Wonder how many will still be around in a few weeks time.
Well done greentiger - great start to challenge. :T

Hi again
and welcome to the newbies and returners.
Can't remember who mentioned having hummus as a HEB, but if you like it, there's a SW recipe for it which is free. There may be a link in post #1, I'll have a look in a mo.
Interesting reading about chubby consultants - the only qualification SW requires for consultants is that they have to have followed the plan and lost weight, they don't have to have reached a healthy bmi or even be at target. When I went to group we had a stand in consultant who was very large but she was very good and had a very well attended group of her own.
I had a busy day, the Christmas decs have been packed away and everywhere is now clean and tidy again, and I've caught up on the washing and ironing. Tomorrow DH and I are going to Cartagena to see the arrival of the three Kings - it's a Spanish tradition as their biggest Christmas celebration is January 6th. That's when the families all get together and exchange gifts and have a festive meal.
Still no sign of Wizkid - I wonder if something's happened, maybe she's been affected by flooding.
Good luck everyone.
