Thanks for the recipe mary. Did you use a whole punnet of mushrooms? mixed varieties?
    .

I made enough for 2 portions and used 1/3 of the large tub I bought from Aldi of bog standard mushrooms but I'm sure you can use any type you want, although perhaps not magic ones..... I hear they make you feel strange :rotfl::rotfl:

Well, tweets, no need for sulking after all. Oh wait, he's still there, so maybe a sulk is in order after all!

I think the horizontal snow has finally stopped! Lovely sunshine now, but still quite windy. I’m not going out either. Eta It’s not sunny any more – it’s night time, lol.

Team did very well, apparently, but still lost in the 90th minute! Boo!

    Great loss, june and musogirl.

    Sunday

    Breakfast: cereal & banana
Lunch: ham & hexa light Philly hexb sandwich
    Dinner: Italian eek!
Snacks: 2 satsumas, we'll see if I can justify anything else

Well they will have to sack him because he wont go gracefully .

Not even the weather would make him walk away surely he likes hot sunshine not rain , snow and high winds :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Was covered in snow when I went to bed and blowing a gale . No wind and throwing it down this morning so hope the snows all gone on my walk to mums.

    Morning all :)

There are some excellent recipes, I'm definitely going to try your mushroom stroganoff recipe Mary.

I saw a good recipe on Facebook this morning for one pan balsamic chicken and if I could work out how to add a link I'd do it but I'm on my tablet and I'm not sure how to! The recipe is by Tip Hero so a search would bring it up.

I'm typing this with tears running down my cheeks because we've got Radio 2 on and all the stories about Terry Wogan are making me laugh and cry at the same time. Another one gone to the great party in the sky, a sad loss.

DH and I are off to play crazy golf with a crowd this afternoon and then out for a meal with them later. We've just had salad for lunch - all free - so I've got HEs and syns to use if necessary.

Hope you're all safe and sound and the bad weather isn't causing problems for anyone.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Forgive me if you lovely ladies already know about this but I stumbled a cross a blog called "twochubbycubs" it is a couple who are doing slimmingworld and have a huge range of recipes and they are fantastic! They have a fantastic sense of humour and are doing SW whilst still enjoying life. Maybe worth checking out for people looking for recipe inspiration!

  • Hi everyone,

Hope you've all had lovely weekends. I nearly froze half to death at football yesterday. Didn't properly warm up until late last night! Went to my friends for dinner and drinks last night and had about 10,000 syns. Mums birthday meal tonight so I expect another 10,000 but I will be on plan for the rest of the week. I'm having surgery on Tuesday, so may not entirely on plan Tuesday and weds so expecting a gain next week.

All of that being said, -3.5lb off this week, which I am chuffed with. 4.5 lbs to complete the challenge, which will be a huge achievement for me.

Hugs to everyone for losses/STS/gains, and for anyone poorly or just in general needing hugs.

    Xxx
  • Hi ladies (do we have any gents?) -
I've been off-plan for two weeks but have given myself a good talking to and will be damned if I'm going to let work spoil my weight loss as well as my general day-to-day contentment. I have been weighing in though so I hope it can be counted please Shala?

    Friday 22nd Jan was a 2.5lb gain
    Friday 29th Jan was a 1.5lb loss
    (somehow!?)

So I'm now at 12st 1.5lb and would love to be at 11st and single-figures-lbs by my birthday on 12th Feb, but that might be pushing it a bit!

Hope everyone else is doing OK and I look forward to reconnecting a bit this week!

Lunch: ham & hexa light Philly hexb sandwich
    Dinner: Italian eek!

Just realised before breakfast that I had planned 2 hex bs for today. Changed breakfast to tropical fruit salad. Feeling :A but it is unlikely to last.
