That ghastly medicine seems to be working!!!:D
Well done beanie and to you too banana and mary.:T
Thanks for the recipe lois. I love aubergine so next time I see them at a good price I'll make some for the freezer.
Are you saying you do Bisto gravy for the veg to go with the yummy burgers beg? Interested to know as I'm generally boring and have chips, onions and mushrooms.
Oh yes maman we had a bit of Bisto Best Beefy to help the mountain of veggies go down a bit easier. Not really a fan of too much gravy but I am struggling with dry veg atm. Oh forgot to say that Sainsbobs BGTY Quarterpounders were well worth 1syn each.
Aubergines are 39p at Lidl atm - I don't know whether this is good or not. I was going to pick one up in the morning and we were going to give Lois' ratatouille (sp) a go.mary_hinge wrote: »Thanks folks, I guess it feels "slow and steady" as I have such a large amount to lose and unrealistically I think I had hoped it would just fly off me and I would be at goal by this christmas....
Busy day with 4 medical appointments for the kiddies today so food has to be quick today.
It will be two years in April Mrs H since I started SW which in many ways seems like a lifetime away. The good thing is that you start reaping the benefits of the weightloss from the outset and thankfully you do not have to wait until you get to target. It does seem quite a daunting task at the beginning but I am sure we will all get there.Haven't done my shop yet so not certain about what's for lunch. I'll post later but I have had two big glasses of water!!:D
I've had two of my four bottles of water so far maman - on top of my usual drinks which included a glass of sparkly water with my lunch.

Forgot to say well done to our latest lovely losers :T:T:T
Need to get some peppers to go with the szechuan beef maman (might have that tonight or if not over weekend). DN borrowed my Fakeaway Book and tried this recipe and said it was lovely so looking forward to trying it.
Tried Batchelors Pasta N Sauce (new Pesto one) but only had half packet and half plate of salad to go with it. It was two syns for full amount and not too bad in flavour. Gave the smoky cheese and pancetta one a miss lantanna

 Sorry I've been MIA, just been taking a bit of an internet break. Have only skimmed over the posts, so hope everyone is well and hugs to anyone who needs it! As for me, still been on plan although it's feeling like another slow loss week. But it's been a good size change week, I'm officially too small for all my 18s and even the 16s are getting loose. Bought some 14s yesterday to swap out some of the larger things so it'll be a NSV week, no matter what the scale says tomorrow.musogirl295 wrote: »Thanks maman! Speed fruit is where I really struggle. I always have plenty of speed veg but I have a mild phobia of overly crunchy things like apples and pears so I tend to have to go with berries which gets really expensive, even though I buy it frozen!
Going to add in some toast and jam for my extra heb and some cheese for my hea!
What about citrus fruits? Oranges, clementines, grapefruits, etc. All are speed, and usually pretty cheap! Also the various melons, although they can be expensive as well. I get plums when they're on offer as well. Otherwise it's just apples (the small red ones are usually quite sweet, so not as crunchy) and frozen berries for me! Not all that bothered about having fruit though, only really eat it if I'm starving between meals.0 -

My friend refers to her cats dreamies as cat crack, she just shakes the pack and the cat suddenly appears from wherever its been.
I am seriously bored today. 2.5 hours and counting. If I'm not back on have a good weekend all!0 -
Just been having a catch-up on thread - as I was away for some days.
So - I've missed watching "Sugar Free Farm" and been googling around to find a link to watch it on Iplayer (ie ITV.com) website and I cant find one that will work.
It was on 26 January - so there should be a link up to it. Has anyone got a link that will work to see it on catch-up tv please?0 -

june - I generally have a clementine or two a day but I find oranges too messy. The same goes for things like pineapple unless I buy it ready prepped. I love to cook but I have very little patience when it comes to prepping! If only cooked fruit counted, as I love the taste of apples and pears. It's just the texture and the crunching I can't stand. My dad put me off for life with his crunching on granny smiths every evening!0

Good result, Sandhy and Kaz.
Enjoy your gin(s), lantanna.
maman, hope harry reed is not playing tomorrow then – I wouldn’t want to fall out with you! We won’t be there anyway – Ibrox and Parkhead we give a miss to now. We’ll just keep up with the action via “Open all mikes” on radio Scotland. Swansea have bought yet another of our youngsters – that’s 3 they have now!
My cat hates dreamies!!! But she’d kill for a Webbox cat yogurt.
Well I did get out for lunch and I chose fairly wisely (for the main course anyway, lol). I had rotisserie chicken and took off the skin, a jacket potato, corn cob and sweet chilli sauce (didn’t use it all). BUT my friend was having a pud, so I did too – mandarin sponge with lemon sauce and a scoop of ice cream. Oh well it’s in the past now and I have been saving syns all week, so hoping there won’t be too much damage because DH and I have been treated (part of our Christmas gift from DD) to a 3 course Italian meal, which will be on Sunday before we go to Celtic Connections Transatlantic Sessions concert.
Saturday
Breakfast: banana & hexb cereal
Lunch: smoked mackerel salad, orange
Dinner: peppered steak, wedges, mushrooms, green veg, tomatoes
Snacks: apple, hexa cheese, crackers & cherry tomatoes (4)
Still feeling stuffed!
Enjoy your weekend, everyoneSewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400
