Sorry you're down but don't be put off by that sort of boasting. It'll catch up with them in the end just as all your good work will win through. Stick with it.:)
So LVG won't be sacked in the morning tweets.....well not this morning anyway;).
I'd like a mushroom stroganoff recipe too. That's a great idea, mary. I bought an aubergine in Lidl ready for lois's ratatouille later in the week.
I had a small tub of ice cream again at the theatre tonight, but hopefully within syns, and it kept me out of the bar.;) I managed about 1.5 litres of water on top of other drinks today. Is it 2 litres we're aiming for?
Today's menu:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese & spring onions, beetroot, cornichonsburger, SW chips, fried onions, peas, tomato, mushrooms
Syns: ice cream, squirt of HP, squirt of syrup and 1 for burger
Good Afternoon
Wish they would sack him he hopeless
Its freezing here today and windy also keeps having little snow showers and hailstoning .

What recipe do you use for the Mongolian chicken? There seems to be loads of different variations when I googled it!

That's great june and a lovely shiny too!!:TI am going to be extra good this week and try and lose some weight I don't like being just under my goal
Same here tweets. I'm going to a wedding next month and I want to be close to the bottom of my target range so that my dress fits comfortably.
Thanks for the recipe mary. Did you use a whole punnet of mushrooms? mixed varieties?
I've been drinking water today again although today I added a splash of grapefruit squash and it certainly goes down better. I just looked up my glass (to check the size) on Amazon and I've had 195cl which is as near as dammit 2 litres.:D0 -

I kind of mixed and matched different recipes I found for Mongolian beef, it'll probably be vile because of it.. :rotfl:
- 400g chicken, cut into large chuncks
- 1/2 tsp ginger (I use jarred)
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed(I use jarred)
- 120ml soy sauce (use the low sodium stuff)
- 25g brown sugar (5 syns)
- pinch of chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp. cornflour (not sure how many syns as I haven't put it in yet) use enough to thicken the sauce
- any veg you have knocking about (on facebook they just used carrots, but you can add other veg to it to up the speed)
I put everything in the slowcooker (except the cornflour) and cooking on high for 2-3 hours
Once the chicken looks cooked, mix the cornflour with some cold water and stir into the sauce
Leave the lid off the slow cooker for 30 minutes and the sauce should thicken (I have fingers crossed at this point :rotfl:)
I haven't tried it yet so it might be horrid, i'll let you know.
e.t.a. it was ok, bit too sweet for me as a main course as I didn't expect it be sweet. but it was perfectly edible...Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Bit disappointed with that. Aside from a very small lunch out midweek I've been completely on plan so was hoping for more.0 -
