All good money savings.

My bro in law's needs an MOT, the best place is where I take mine which is just up the road from my work. So need to swap cars, I can drive his under my policy but then leaves him without a car. So called today to my insurance to add him to my policy so we can swap cars for the day, added on for a year £4.38 refund due :money:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Shouldnt celebrate really, getting old, have to start counting backwards soon :rotfl:
So weekend was good. Friday had afternoon off, had haircut £20 not bad as hadnt had since September  then took advantage of a sunny afternoon and rode my hoss
Saturday tidied up more of the house, few things organised.
Sunday as was mothers day sister didnt want to go to church and wanted a family day, so morning we sent dad of to church and did a big declutter in parents house. So a loads of rubbish dumped, a big pile for a tip run, few bits boxed up ready for move and a massive pile of boxes now sitting messing up my tidied house to sell. So had a lovely roast lunch at sisters, played with nephew and then home and listed some items on ebayNo bids yet but lots of views, fingers crossed.
My car insurance refund has landed so sent to savings, bad news is plumber bill landed last night for call out to boiler, £48 so not too bad but still bahness. So need to find some pennies to pay for that.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Not a bad week so far, birthday went to sisters she bought me some lovely books and a fab sister necklace, had dinner at hers with dad too. Dad also gave me £50 cash
Wednesday went with sisters back to dads in the evening and sorted out some more house bits, some quite hard as some of mums but working together slowly through it wasnt too bad.
Yesterday had course in London so expense on taxis and trains but reclaimable, lunch was free always a bonus
Am of this weekend to see a friends, of tomorrow out but can take advantage of EH membership so should be pretty free
Gas & Electric bills landed, no idea how the computer calculates the figures but on gas with a current debit of £9 wanted to put DD down from £16 to £9, and electric with a current credit of £17 wanted to put DD up from £35 to £92, madness  Spoke to the lady and she agreed too so keeping the DD's as they are, also getting the credit back on the electric. Should be landing in a few days and then can send to savingsDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
