Dear Diary so a lot has gone on since last update.

Sisters house move delayed, very frustrating but all sorted now and moving next Wednesday, will be good to get a new start there.

Dad had a small fall on sunday, was with sister but slipped of kerb meaning a 6hr visit to A&E on sunday and a small fracture to his pelvis. Luckily only an overnight stay and now back at home but limited mobility for a while, meaning health visitor visits during the morning and then I go in at lunchtime to sort out lunch. Hopefully today should be the last day and all back to normal next week. It never rains but pours in my world, sigh!

So it was 6 months yesterday since mum died, where did the 6 months go, its been an awful 6 months, I think that everything that could go wrong has and a bit fed up and down with it all.

So today hopefully should be a fresh start. My mortgage is going through today meaning as of about lunchtime I will be free of my ex partner, the house will be in my name, I will have no debt and money to put away some savings :D

So thats a great start, now onto slaying that mortgage, building the savings up and having a life!! Hopefully things will turn around and look up slightly, I have won a holiday of the comp board here, just a 4 night stay in wales but I am going to go by myself and that will be great and just ignore everyone else and take time out to relax. Off to post on the DFW roll of honour soon. May start a new diary to slay the mortgage watch this space :)

That must feel very good indeed, albeit with a tinge of sadness at how it's come about. Onwards and upwards and enjoy your holiday :D
