Thanks for dropping by, hate these big bills but least managing to pay without getting into more debt. Have replied on your diary re the fields
So some good news, £16.20 made at cash for clothes, promptly spent £1.30 on chocolate and bread for lunch but lets gloss over that :rotfl: So approx £15 "spare". Have £75 cash at the moment which is great, will use towards food and fuel spending. £3 survey money landed so transferred to savings, less that I have to find going forward. Another £10 amazon voucher landed too
So financial targets going forward:-
£350 to repay rental fund
£424 to repay fund from uncle (for mums headstone) (need to chase this up to see when being organised)
£485 for insurance fund (house, life and annual vet visit)
So need £1,259 as of today.
Also £1K emergency and £500 for holiday
Total £2,759 to find... Watch this spaceDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning world
Thanks Jodles and Debt free for dropping by, nice to have visitors
Pay day today, always a good day, managed to end up with £15 "spare" in my current account, pleased with that considering my spendy month. £5 is already put aside to cover car insurance bill as wiped out the other savings with the car and vet bill, but have £10 "extra".
Now in theory if I stick to my budget should have £91 "spare" this month, which is great, but....it is my birthday this month and would really like to do something, even if its going for out a meal or for a few day trips, will speak to sister and friends and see what I can organise.
My hoss trainer is coming tomorrow, havent seen her since december so think one £25 can be spentCan use out of the money used for selling stuff recently as havent budgeted for it but nice to get back on track. May use the other money for a hair cut, havent had it cut since september so well overdue, have messaged my friend but if she doesnt come back then will book locally..
Got a few work trips coming up, next week meeting in head office and then a course in London so should net me some expenses which will be much needed and appreciated.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning, thank goodness its friday
So hoss trainer last night, was ok, lots of work needed for both hossie and me but definitely progress being made£25 well spent for an hours training.
Spendy day as well, £50 on full tank of fuel, not bad as only had 10 miles left in the tank, should do more approx 450 miles so not bad economy. Spent £6 on takeaway as late with trainer then had to pick up sister from school as her car in for service so even with takeaway didnt eat till 9. Also spent a few pennies on bit of fresh fruit needed for next few days. Need to re-stock fridge and freezer so will do a big shop tomorrow, got lots of vouchers so will see what I can do.
Do need to get a few horsey bits, need new reins as snapped a keeper last night, desperately need a new hat silk as coming of (not a good look) so need to save for those. However I do have interest in my saddle, dropped the price as just want to get rid of it so not a lot but better than nothing and be good to get rid of it as just sitting in my house gathering dust, fingers crossedDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good afternoon, nearly Monday over, tired, yawn!
So weekend was good. Saturday did food shopping, everything all stocked up, overspent by £36 on budget, but that was buying a few bits of clothes and extra shopping for dad so will recoup that for him (he has budget for it) then will be on track for rest of the month.
No luck selling the saddle, the potential buyers doesnt think it will fit, getting bored of it hanging around now, will try ebay.
Sunday didnt spend a penny, rode my hossie in the school and quick walk round the block, a couple of stroppy moments from her where she stands and wont go forward and if you kick her, threaten her with whip she puts her ears back and starts reversing. Worked out shouting at her get on you tw!t actually works quite well :rotfl: Voice commands am working on, she doesnt always react well to the bit, as in still learning I think, so was working on walk and stop commands just using my voice, will keep working on it, doing it on the ground too so hopefully this will help. Still early days with her but definitely better both for her and me
Sunday also did some more tidying of house, weeded some of the garden, chopped up some logs and caught up with some recorded tv, nothing exciting but good to do none the lessDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

I am a huge believer of voice commands, I find when my daughter is riding the pony listens to my voice too which in turn makes me feel better. I like to lunge using voice only and it always amazes me how clever they are.
Do you have a wood burner/open fire for the logs? We did a lot of wood collecting at the weekend from the trees that have dropped branches after the storms.Debt - CCV £3792

Morning, thanks for dropping by, hoping voice commands work, is what she has learnt on the ground, I havent done the normal approach to teaching her as never had a youngster before just tried each day and see what works :rotfl: but we are making progress and if growling at her to get on you lazy moo works then thats fine by me
Yep have an open fire in my living room, saves on gas :money: When moved in there was a gas fire there but it had to be removed as it was leaking, then for about a year had a piece of MDF covering the gap, classy I know. Were looking at a log burner but would mean having to get a flue for the chimney and costing a lot more than we could afford whereas the open fire was just the fire and surround. Just get it swept once a year, £50, local guys so not too much cost. At the moment am burning loads of random wood had left over in the house including my old garden fence which replaced 2 years ago, havent bought any wood since been there. Think next winter may have to stock up on logs but thats not bad after 4 yearsMay go out to local woods and pick up some after the wind sounds a good idea.
So dad has gifted me £200 to cover the costs for his bits I bought plus a wee bit extra for my birthday which is next week. So this money has covered the car insurance
