Good afternoon
So careline have been today and fitted heat sensors and smoke alarms to dad's, all connected to the emergency system so thats a start. Just waiting for the plumber to call me back to sort the gas out.
Spendy day yesterday but that was due to ordering months worth of horse food and bedding, £71, need to get bag mix but get from a different place, but will be on track for £75 budget
NSD today, made use of leftover bits last night, bottom of the fridge veg, chicken from last of roast from the weekend, tin sauce and some rice enough for me last night and lunch today at work. Food already sorted for next few days waiting in the fridge, have sorted food and pudding for dad today too
Surveys and comps up to date, being quite good at getting into doing those regularly as do pay off. Lets just gloss over ebay at the moment, but will get back on track eventually there.
So nothing exciting in the world of Baldybear things ticking over, but I suppose after last years roller coaster its nice to have a few days where its boring and just ok.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Hello,
Did advertise the saddle but no interest so far, got two options put it on ebay which maybe do at the weekend or cut the price and sell it cheaply. Not ideal but to be honest just want to get rid of it as no longer any use to me, any money for it would be better than nothing.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Hello, thanks for dropping by, I do hope so
So NSD achieved yesterday, not an exciting day but productive at work.
So today need to get some milk for office (reclaimable), fill up with fuel, get cash for YO for weekend expenses, cash for farrier ready for Monday and few pounds emergency cash in case for tomorrow. Of to Gosport with work for a tournament, will take packed lunch and extra food just in case, although there will be a free buffet in the evening, but who knows if I will get time to eat much, so in theory no spending but like to be prepared just in case. Will be a long day/evening and late back hence the money for the yard owner. Just keep thinking of the expenses I will get back for mileage, that will helpDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Weekend was ok, football tournament was good, my team didnt win but a good day/evening - lots of good marketing opportunities
Saturday had lie in, got dad's paper, sister came round, she is feeling down, stressed, thinking everything is getting on top of her so she has a week off and a doctors appointment, hope all ok. For now I am the strong one, dont feel it all the time but hopefully will be ok. So ended up being a bit spendy, went and spent £4 on McDonalds and sister paid for us and nephew to go to the cinema, saw the Snoopy movie, cheesy but good.
Sunday cleared some more poo from my field, no one else seems to be doing any, and with 4 horses in there bit annoyed, but good exercise, slowly breaking the back of it, much better than it was, few more weekends and she be a lot more manageable, now the lighter evenings are here will definitely help too. Had dad round for lunch as had a few more viewings, was ok.
Spoke to ebay about getting my old listings back but unfortunately gone forever, bah, managed to put some items up, no bids yet but fingers crossed, least its a start.
Yesterday had a day off and took dad to memory clinic, ok but definitely signs of dementia but progress forward being made in assessment so thats ok.
Few survey payments have landed so another £13 sent to insurance fund, about 25p in interest too, all helpsExpenses put in so that will be £122 when paid
MOT and service booked in for 18th, car insurance due on 25th, but with the free council tax and water should just have enough to cover it all in there and then continue saving for the other expenses later in the year

HI hope you're Ok, weekend sounded good, I took my ds a couple of weeks ago to watch Snoopy and really enjoyed it!
I think you need to listen to your body as your sister has done, time off helps to recharge.
Well done on the extra income, all builds up nicely.

Hello, Chrysalis thanks for dropping by, for now seem ok and dont need to take time off, going to save up my holiday and try and get away properly this year if I can, finances dependent.
In the meantime am cracking on but not putting myself under too much pressure, work is ok not too stressful, horse is ok, know need to do more but will get there, finances ok, could be better but again working on it, house again working on it. Overall not too bad.
Trying to keep up with what my mum would want me to do, yes I think she would allow me to grieve, but she wouldnt want me to sit around and waste my life. Needing that positive head on, hoping life turns a corner somehow.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
