Good afternoon
Both CC's now showing as 0, happy days. Next lot of money through so going to call the mortgage advisor this afternoon.
Not a NSD as paid the storage costs for removals (dad paid but paid on his behalf), also finally ordered rest of sisters birthday present, had spare in current account budget so pleased with that.
£5 nectar points redeemed from survey site and landed so that will help towards lowering grocery bill. One Poll finally reached so have requested payment, now onto reaching that target again.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Hi BB,
I think it's completely natural to reflect on the bittersweet nature of paying off the debts. If only we really got to make the choices, keeping hold of the people we love would always be top of the list. But that's not the way it works; and all you can do is cherish her memory. I just wanted to say how well I think you are doing, keeping everything to plan. She would indeed be very proud of you.0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Thank you for dropping by, am proud that mum has taught me well and going on track now. Seems like forever been in debt and with an ex who was really bad with money its definitely changed my mindset. All money want to be mine and work harder for it now
Mum would also be proud not wasting my inheritance and putting it to good use. So mortgage advisor appointment made next week so fingers crossed its all go there.
Mums memorial grave in action now too so have paid deposit (out of money from uncle). The rest of money wont cover the rest of the expenses so will find out whether as a family we need to cover the remaining £200 odd or whether uncle will pay the balance. Have until work finishes so no rush to sort out too much yet.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Good weekend, saturday spent £70 on some metal feed bins as the rats have chewed some of mine, one was for a friend so should get £30 back some time. Paid on CC to get nectar points, paid of this morning. Spent time with my family, taking nephew to park and catching up in general. Yesterday was a NSD, cleared field of poo then washed my car. Last night my light bulb went in my bathroom, have ordered a new one today, no spend as used amazon gift card. Didnt want to pay for long delivery so going to see if I can get the old one out tonight and see if I can get a replacement quicker tomorrow.
Mortgage appointment tomorrow morning, watch this spaceDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Mortgage advisor appointment done, completed and accepted, just need to wait for the offer nowNeed to speak to my solicitor next week to sort out the legal bits and off for a meeting with ex on friday to discuss his share and signing the relevant papers etc. Exciting
Managed to find some light bulbs in waitrose so paid for those out of cash in wallet whilst waiting for amazon order to arrive, means got spares which is good. Order nephews birthday present too from amazon, all with vouchers so no spend, still got £12 odd in there to use, with some more vouchers pending so can use as needs be
Still for now keeping up extra money making ways, need to get those savings targets up to full funds then of course its the big one of overpaying the mortgage, eek!
Expenses landed and in the first time in who knows many years hasnt gone to repay and debt and has gone into the emergency fund, £109 nice figure to haveDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

I know it has come out of circumstances that you wouldn't have chosen in a million years but isn't it lovely that you finally get rid of your ex and that your mum helped you do it, it's like her gift to you :-)DFD September 2017

Great news on the mortgage. Has your Ex still been contributing? Or will this make any difference to your repayments in some way?
Will be fantastic to get all these big things behind you. On a much smaller scale, I've found it so much easier to keep going when I saw my big overdraft paid off. Apart from an accidental few pounds here and there I've not been back into it in nearly 2 years. Suddenly we have some savings etc, and it feels amazing.
Keep going with that emergency fund. :T0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37
