Very well done on your second overpayment. Sounds like a lovely moment with your dog and just what you needed.

Suffice it to say I was not lady like.:eek:

    Day 43

A great suggestion was made on the MFW 2016 thread by Shangaijimmy, that we start a Tilly Tidy thread, so this morning that's exactly what I have done................it can be found here

    Day 44

Feeling a little cheesed today, everything seems a chore.

DD budgeted wrongly and needs some cash, surprise surprise, so had to deal with that plus she was quite upset, not sure why she didn't think it wouldn't happen, she's a spender not a saver. Have to say there was a tiny moment of welcome to my world in the air :rotfl::rotfl:

The Tilly Tidy thread doesn't seem to be taking off, shame but hopefully it will be a slow burner :D

Read a couple of diaries at lunch, made me feel a tad "I shouldn't be here" ...................I am a little fish, who earns a moderate amount who would like to spend a few years before she retires enjoying life with some extra cash............I don't have multiple homes or swanky BTL apartments, I don't do fancy investments and as for interest earnings, I'd just like to have spare money in the pot...........let's hear it for the little guys of this world :T:T:T:T:T

Also today I am standing my ground over a small debt I have of £147 includes charges  Asked them how much to settle today, now...................fill in an income and expense he says :eek::eek: So it would appear the settlement figure is based on what I could afford :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Not a lot as my wages pays the bills...........refused to put OH wages on, so lets see what they say over that one. It's nothing to do with my OH so why should they include his money (oh I did omit all food, fuel and day to day living as well, only fair :D)

Opened a query with TCB over pet insurance

    More exciting on Friday..........payday :j:j

:grouphug: I wasn't meaning any disrespect to anyone and I do know that the more you earn the more spend happens

It's just you read some and they have 3 house, a Bermuda complex, a New York penthouse and you think geez a) you must earn a lot, b) you can easily pay off your mortgage just sell the penthouse luv and finally c) how many lurkers are out there like me and you karmcat earning up to £3k a month with a reasonable mortgage and don't try to pay their mortgage off because they read the diaries and think "well they can because they are......" Not that it's not great if you can have a penthouse, an island and private yacht, good for them

I suppose I was just trying to tell myself this board was not just for the wealthy, it's for everyone, including me, who has spend 27 years up to her eyeballs in debt.

Unless you try you don't know and there is just a chance you can, maybe not as fast as some but you can :D:D:D
