I know you weren't Sue. I've been in and out of mse for years, and seen so many varieties of peeps (not quite to Bermuda complex level, though Marine Life isn't far off :rotfl:) but I suspect the people in really bad spaces would go to the dfw board, not the mfw board. I never went to mfw, not for years :p
I suppose I was just trying to tell myself this board was not just for the wealthy, it's for everyone, including me, who has spend 27 years up to her eyeballs in debt.
Absolutely. And don't forget how much stress you're living with, which makes everything more difficult.
Unless you try you don't know and there is just a chance you can, maybe not as fast as some but you can :D:D:D

    I love this :j:j:j

Yes was part of DFW board (one or two judgemental peeps on that) for a long time, which is a shame because usually you end up there when it is really really dire and frugal living boards........... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe I just feel a MFW fraud still and only time will heal that one :D:D:D

Have to say this is by far the best nicest board :T:T:T

I'm a tiddler too :D Jumping from the DFW pool to MFW felt a little like a fish out of water to begin with, but there's lots who started over there and aspired to be over here. And now we are - be proud, get comfy and keep chipping away :D
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18

I love this forum and I really enjoy the variety of diaries that are on here.

On one had, I take massive inspiration from the diaries that are doing everything they can to save a few pounds here and there and on the other hand I'm also inspired by the diaries that talk about B2L investments and investing a little bit in to S&S ISA's for example.

When I started here, I had little in the form of savings, a mortgage debt and no real clarity on what I was trying to achieve financially.

Since joining, I've still pretty much got the same mortgage debt, but I've managed to put down a deposit on a B2L and have a little bit of savings. I've still a long way to go, but I find the diaries inspirational.

I also enjoy the reality check that they provide if I've been a bit spendy etc.

I hope it's just a fleeting feeling and that you're feeling comfy with it all again soon :)

(BTW, where are the penthouse and yacht diaries, I wouldn't mind a bit of inspiration from them - maybe they can give us some money making ideas!)

Forget the yacht, it's the penthouse I'm interested in. Not that keen on the sea, lol!
