I'm quite a small fry too. Don't earn that much, but have had some windfalls in the past that have allowed me to do things.
However, things are different now we've moved.
It's all relative. You are doing really well. You do fit in - please don't feel that you don't.
Keep on chipping...

Keep going, even just a £ overpaid, is a £ you will never pay interest on, ever again:j Cause i'm gready and mean and would rather have the interest charged in my pocket than in the banks.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Feeling a tad better (cold capsules kicking in)
Paid another £50 to mortgage today which is a bit short of target  but I have £267 in emergency, £558 in holiday fund, £15 in Tilly Tidy, and various other funds mounting to a grand total of.................wait for it.................£1,098 :eek::eek::eek: which considering I had a big fat zilch at the beginning of the month, oh and paid for car repair, I feel quite :happyhear:dance: plus paid £200 of mortgage too
Oh and paid balance of next goods £243.97
Oh and bought a few sale items £90 needed for work, honest
Actually that really good isn't itDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
Yes it is :j:j:j
And in the "cold capsule" thing, we see the reason you felt so bad about your finances :kisses3: glad you feel a bit better.
FrayedKnot - my cash flow is utterly terrible, the only discretionary spends I allow myself are about a fiver on Amazon DVDs because I don't have a TV licence any more, and the bus fare to see my sister, thats literally the only ones I have (full disclosure - a wedding later this year as a guest, I'll pay for those expenses from savings). I *have* paid off the mortgage, and I have those savings, which are draining now. We'll survive2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
