As suggested by Shanghijimmy................here goes
Lots of us have a Tilly Tidy fund, for those that have aren't sure a brief description is below.
Now you can pledge to aim for a Tilly Tidy amount monthly or yearly, the choice is yours.
You don't have to say where the money is going, that is entirely your secret, unless you want to divulge it, it could be the sales at christmas, a "to die for" handbag, a new phone, a new man shed or to op your mortgage/credit card etc
What is a Tilly Tidy fund (named after the lady who championed it)
A Tilly Tidy fund is a rounding of your bank accounts, this could be to the nearest pound, fiver, tenner............hundred :rotfl: The aim is to shave off those little odd bits and save them all up for something good
I will do a spreadsheet, which will be updated regularly, you can post daily totals, weekly or monthly ones............all I ask is you quote your TT no and the amount in bold red
On joining can you post your name and amount in bold red please
Ok so here's to Tilly Tidying everyone, lets see how much we can save as the saying goes...........look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves

Ooh, I'll join please I've a Tilly tidy account with £10.47 in it and a different account where I'm doing the daily savings- where you put the amount of pence in dependent on the day in the year, so today I'll put 19p in etc.
Not sure what I'll use it for, maybe a mini break with my man.OS Grocery Challenge

Great initiative Sue but I can't really join at the moment as I'm keeping all my money in a 123 account to maximise on the interest, so it would be impossible to keep track of any TTsMortgage Oct '20: £615k
Mortgage Feb '24: 590k
Debt Feb'24: £35,501.540 -
I've never done any Tilly Tidying, can I ask a Tilly Tidy query?! If you're making OPs of a few pence per day does your annual mortgage statement stretch to about 500 pages?Life is changing...but I'm still Money Saving!0
