Tilly Tidy 2016

I am not over paying a mortgage (I don't even have one) but have taken the idea of a Tilly tidy and have been putting my odd change into a savings jar which I have named Tilly. The boys thought I was mad at first when I was talking about Tilly the jar (as in, mustn't forget to take Tilly with us) but they loved it on the first day of our annual holiday (cheapo one in a caravan) when we broke it open and it had over £140 in it.
Not sure if that qualifies me to join in, probably doesn't as I don't tend to keep very good records of the change I throw in and it is a sealed jar...well usually, the current one got broken and now I can take the top off - currently £60 odd in there, plus I do it from August to July.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Love the idea of naming your jar TillyI think I will have to have a 'Tilly Jar' too
Much better than the 'copper pot' which my change jar is more commonly known.

It certainly does qualify you, it doesn't have to be for a mortgage op at all...............we do cheapo ones in vans too:D

Yes please.
Can I say £180 but it will be for the beginning of July this year rather than the end of the year.
We count it up on the first day of holiday, much fun with coins flying everywhere but I can't say I think much of the smell left on my hands afterwards. We made it!
