still struggling?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

yes..
Maybe I have the wrong cables?
I have Blue going Router(internet port) to PC
and Yellow one going from router(LAN port) to modem.
Should i try another blue cable, or a white one?
Running out of ideas hereI Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
I would be tempted to hold down the reset button on the router, and start again. The wizard should just pickup your details from the cable modem.
www.routerlogin.com
admin
password
run wizard.
But your wiring should be
PC -- port 1/2/3/4 --- router -- internet port -- cable modem
so internet port goes to cable modem, not PC.
There should be a wiring diagram in the box
Either lead will do.
you may have to do a
start, run, cmd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
when swapping leads around
Some tips on encryption, the important bit is change the ssid from netgear, and use wpa encryption
