I installed my netgear router very easily, all i did was connect it up to my modem(also on virgin media) and i did the settings and away i was,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

If you are connecting OK to the internet it sounds like it's auto connected wirelessly.

i know it doesnt help, i knew it wouldnt, what i was saying is that i found it easy as ive not setup a router before and a bit of a noob with things like this and that if i did it then surely the OP could do it, hes got a pc with wireless card so maybe taht makes it harder,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -

If you want to find out how to get the info do this...
Start > Run > type "cmd"(without quotations) > type "ipconfig"
This will show all you need to know but im not sure whether it works on a mac.
