Good morning
Windy but sunny at the moment (the weather, not me lol)
One load on the line, another in the machine
tidied living room/removed 4 pairs of shoes
going to hoover the living room in a minute
take DD to club, have a chat with coaches, other mums
going around looking at ovens, no idea how much these things cost. Any ideas where there are good deals/service? Can't stand these shopassistants who just want to sell you stuff but don't know the answers to any of your questions and look at you blankly
When DH got married and moved into our first home, we went on a shopping trip for washer, cooker, hoover, fridge freezer, dryer etc. Went into comet, asked questions and we got blank stares and shrugged shoulders, I asked for a manager and said that we were spending big money but seeing that his staff was so ignorant and not bothered we were taking our money elsewhere... the look on his face was priceless.. We ended up in Arnots, got interest free credit and a lady assistant who couldn't do enough for us
So watch out sales assistants, here we come...
Lil-me: have you stopped laughing yet? What a cracker...
Solwaykid: NO washing left, you lucky thing...
Have a great Saturday, working, relaxing, shopping, caring, loving, refereeing bickering kids, or whatever else you might be doing... :grouphug:0 -
Mumoftwo I bought all my appliances online. I went to Quidco and seen which ones offered good cashback. If you want to see them in a shop you can of course go to the store with the product number (I did with curry's then ordered online) gives you a good look at it for size etc aswell, see what deal they can do but most can't match online prices. Oh discount codes and vouchers too, I got 5% off (£30) when I ordered the FF from Curry's, was on the Discount Codes and Vouchers board on here aswell as on ukhotdeals and http://www.madaboutbargains.co.uk/One day I might be more organised...........

morning everyone
Having a very strange and quiet morning, DH has taken kids swimming so I have house to myself. Not used to it at all, don;t quite know what to do! Phoned bank to see if I can get a better account for our maternity leave fund to sit it, it might as well earn itself some interest but they had no advisors available aarrghh how annoying. Other than that done sod all. Trying to out together a list of emails for hubs to email when baby comes but its soooooooooooooo dull copying and pasting out of address book, I gave up. I should so and do some sewing whilst kids not here but cannot be !!!!!d. Its now I realise I am glad I have some kids to keep me busy already, if I was sat around waiting for this baby with nothing to do I would crack up.
Was convinced something was affot yesterday. I felt rubbish all day, very sicky and just sort of odd. Loads and loads of contractions in the evening - nothing painful just those practise ones where your bump goes rock hard, but they were happening so frequently it was weird. And then most bizarrely of all I had a great nights sleep, only up for loo once :j
This morning I just feel heavy and tired but nothing feels like its doing anything so no baby today anyway!
Ho hum think I shall go and have a lie down while house quiet.
Hope everyone has great Saturdays

Well HELLO!!!
I've not been on a few days I'm afraid. Not been flying much either I'm afraid.
My house is a tip!
And I'm well and truly p.... off!
DH has left wit DD2 for the weekend for another model car race... I'm actually quite Ill with headaches and sore throat, feeling very tired..
I took DD3 to horse riding lessons this morning. (DH had to work till 12) Came back, found DD1 and DD2 sitting on their backsides wathing tv. breakfast plates just chucked on coffee table (I DON"T like them eating sitting in front of tv!!!) cups on table... shoes everywhere.. grape leftovers in the windowsil..
so I went off!.. Told them to switch off tv, and clean up their crap.
What does DD2 do? (the same one that causes me loads of hassle lately) she stands in front of the mirror brushing her hair.
I get mad, pull the brush from her hand saying: "CLEAN UP YOUR CRAP NOW!!" and she turns around and slaps me straight in the face!! (she is 11!)
That's when I blew my top!.. smacked her pretty good, and 'kicked' her behind upstairs..
Well she's off with her dad now anyway for the weekend. it would make good punishment to keep her home, were it not that I really don't want to have her around me.
I am still fuming!!!
Think I'll take out some of that rage on the HUGE pile of washing that needs folding.

Becca ((hugs)) hope your DD settles down soon, sounds like you're going through a bit of a time with her, teenager a little early by the sounds of it. Know what you mean about the punishment, probably would have only punished yourself if you are both always clashing at the mo. Get that aggression vented on the laundry, when I was in a 'bit of a mood' last week I got all sorts done. Unfortunately I'm calm now and the mess is building up around me
Done not a lot other than sort DPs stuff for work, make his and boys lunch and sort through freezer. Fridge next I think cupboards after that (I know roughly what is in) see if I can get a weeks meal plan out of it and spend very little.
JillD hope you're enjoying your quiet time. One day I might be more organised...........

Becca hugs. I had almost an identical sceen in my house this morning. DS1 slammed the door in my face after exactly the same - plates on the floor in front of the tv. I did what you did - wacked him and sent him to his room. I would never have dared do that to my Mum - kids of today!!!
Not done any flying. Tired after a week of DH back at work and not getting home until midnight so I have had to do the lot (AnW'sMum this made me think of you sweetie). Made me realise that he actually does more than I think.
Wash is dry so need to get that in and empty the paddling pool to cut the grass and put it away for the year I think.
Might try to finish the bedrooms later if not it will come around again next week. I MUST STOP PLAYING CATCH UP - repeat this phrase fellow catcher upers. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening all :hello:
Quiet day here for a change. Been out to buy new work stuff for OH as most of what he has is 3+ years old and getting scruffy  Then I went to Asda for the weekly shop and some sanity :rotfl::rotfl: Yes our Asda on a Saturday was actually a nice break today even if it is cramped ATM with them putting in a new floor  So lots of money spent and I have just put the first load of 4 (or is it 5?) on to wash as it's been poor weather here today, not wet but threatening!
Right, off to put on the pizzas (frozen from Asda as a treat) for tea and then I'll have to update Money - something I'm not looking forward to.:eek::o:o Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
