Yooohooo, anyone here? or all you all wathching Big Brother???

Thanks for the sympathy, and kick and advice about my oven. Unfortunately my husband is not handy and won't be able to fix it, usually I am quite good myself but not with big things like an oven and electricity. The oven is quite old, it was already in the house when we moved here 7 years ago and the timer is broken as well, so maybe a blessing in disguise... but I had my heart set on a dishwasher but a nice new oven....yes Lil-me I too can get excited about appliances.. :rotfl:

well, this afternoon, I left the mess behind and went to aquafit, it was really good. the roof over the pool has velux windows and the sun was shining on the water and it made it look so lovely.

After the school run and the tea and the club dropoff I got stuck into the kitchen, so it looks a bit better now. I will truly get caught up tomorrow...

Oh no can't stand big brother, yak, did watch Eastenders rerun and I was right :D I said it was that little runt from the start :D :rotfl:

Mumoftwo sounds like it might be a nice shiney appliance time for you :D don't forget get the best deal and many sites do cashback inc comet, lxdirect etc

As for the dishwasher, todays mammoth washing up after having to wait for water took me forever to get through, I'm keeping my eye on freecycle and in local free ads for dishwashers. Don't know where I'll put one yet but will get to that when I get one :o I'm just sick of washing up! Only me does it (novelty worn off with DS2 of doing breakfast dishes)

Roll on next Tuesday when I can say after the school run, my boys have done nothing but wind each other up all day, ending in DS2 with DS1s hand print on his back and DS2s nails in DS1s back, they just wouldn't leave each other alone, have both lost points today for bad behaviour!

I can hear snuffling, Sonic must be awake, time to play for a bit I think, I WILL get him more easy to handle even if I have pin holes everywhere!!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Hardly anything done here tonight, I've been reading today's posts in short bursts most of the evening. Chatty lot that you are!

I managed to fetch the washing in and put most of it away, put the mountain of shopping away then decided the pantry was a bit of a tip so I emptied it and cleaned it and that's about it.

I lay on the sofa to watch Midsommer Drivel and fell asleep. Not the productive evening I had in mind and I really should go to bed as I'm at work in the morning. Big sigh...

Maralum, lovely to hear from you, welcome back!
Welcome to shoptodrop and jamtart too! You'll be made very welcome here.

This thread picks up speed so quickly, you know, and I always feel bad that I can never remember who's doing what or get on it more than twice in the evening. Just to say though, I've never 'met' such a lovely bunch of people as you lot.

Tired Solway signing off until the next time my time is my own and I'm not too kn*ckered to do anything with it.

I'm the same with remembering everything as I read through but I think everyone knows on here that people genuinely care about each other and if one of us needs a moan or a shoulder there is someone here, which is always nice to know. Like when my central heating went pop today, I could have cried as I hate it when things go wrong, I was in a total panic, but just a little moan on here helped, weird but true

Night night Solway, sweet dreams :)

Hugs to all who have appliances breaking down and those who are at the end of their tethers with kids! I am up far too late stressing about kids, work and the house. I have made my list for tomorrow, decided what is achievable and I must go to bed now. Everything looks better after a good night's sleep! Your posts have made me smile, good night and sweet dreams everyone.
