Welcome to the weekly flylady thread. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!
Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement, we now have levels. There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.
THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.
Also adding a extra mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.

A few of the basics before we start the week:
Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc
Nighttime routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
27 Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding 27 items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
Swish and swipe means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

I am in too but at work tomorrow so may be playing catch up on Tuesday.
Nothing major done today, DH says he spent an hour doing house work (think it must have been next door - lol).
I have applied for 2 more jobs so 3 done in total. I am gonna hunt out stuff for ebay, I may do a box and then list it once littles at school/nursery.0 -
Right, I'm in. Am not too worried about getting to level 3 as long as the floors are cleaned I don't mind :rotfl: The week after (once DD has gone back to school) I'll start over including the sorting out of cupboards etc. The less OH and I have to sort before he is finally able to move on the better  Plus I can try and sell it on ebay to raise money to pay off the debts which are keeping us living together!
A job I have to do this week is juggle the livingroom as we're setting up the old computer (once we've got another monitor, keyboard & mouse - OH going to have a look in work :money: ). We need to be able to arrange the two desks so that we can both go on the seperate PCs at the same time but without seeing what the otherone is doing. Thats going to take some working out! Shouldn't take too long really, but me being me, I'm already stressing out about how we're going to make it work
Anyways, I'm off to bring the washing in so I'll see you all later/tomorrow :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hello everyone and welcome home Pigpen!
I never did get back to you all yesterday. as I got called in to work at the pub, and had such a headache when I got home, that I crashed out in bed, and OH had to heat up the dinner for us before I went back to bed again still with a headache. Had work again today, and we were SOOO busy that we did the same number of covers today as we had done in the whole of last week, and even though there were 3 waitresses, we were all running around like headless chickens! Luckily I've declined the offer of work tomorrow, as I want to spend time with OH as we never see each other anymore.
Well, I've managed to clean the loo, and the 2 phones, keyboard and mouse with my new antibacterial wipes, which are quite good, but I've already had to use a few, so probably aren't very economical. Did 2 loads of washing yesterday despite going to work, so I'm happy that I tried my best at flying.
Off to have a shower, as I'm still all sticky, and OH decided that he needed a shower before he went shooting earlier and I haven't got around to having mine yet. Then I'm going to watch BB, and cook dinner when OH gets home at 9.
Thanks for the list as alway lil_me.
Happy flying everyone, and I look forward to catching up with everyone this week.

Hi everyone, i'm in again this week. Hope to get alot done this week before my 2 oldest return to school next monday, done ok last week but really need to pull all the stops out now.
I will get a list done tonight and post tomorrow.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I'm in this week!
Tomorrow's list is:
Breakfast
take girls to school (walk dog at same time)
Clean kitchen!
cabinets, cooker, dustbin, worktops, coffee machine etc
I want to give the cutlery drawer a good clean out.
Got some more ironing to do.
Daily stuff:
Toilet
hoover high traffic area
make beds
gerenal tidy up
Shower and get ready for work in the afternoon.
I'm feeling really motivated now.. but that might have dissapeared by daylight, you never know.
Today I did 7 loads of washing. And all but one of those is folded waiting to be put away. Have to wait till kids are up in the morning though.
Did a few bits of ironing otherwise DH has no tidy shirt to wear to work, but can't be bothered anymore now to do the rest.
Having me a sit down now, and relax a bit before bed time.
Night all!0 -
I'm in , sort of, but probably more for the chat than the FLYing LOL. Will just take it a day at a time and see how I feel, not going to overdo it from noe for the next few weeks.
Well got none of my jobs done today LOL as we went for a picnic instead. DH did get DS's room painted this morning though but we got back too late to organise his toys etc back into it so thats on the crads for tomorrow. Had a lovely picnic at Basildon Park, an NT place. We took a camping chair for me to sit on and DHplayed with the kids while I sat and read and wrote a letter to my Dad. It was really lovely. Got home at teat time and did a brilliant (if I do say so myself) spag bol for tea. I am turning the leftovers into chilli tomorrow for tea:j
So todays jobs are earmarked for tomorrow: - finish off DS room and sort the garden out a bit.
Thanks for all the advice on toileting everyone, I feel such a bit of a moaning minnie esp since reading other people's stories. He had dry pants all day today :T and no major arguments aout going to the loo. Long may it last. I do try and not turn it into an issue but its so infuriating when he just wont change or go or whatever and just ignores me. Thats 4 year olds for you I suppose though.
Have only briefly read through end of last weeks thread, too tired to read it properly. Will post a list for the week in a mo.
Hope everyone has had a good and sunny day today, hugs to all who need them

not left overs here unfortunately but when we do I usually chilli it, spooky. You're blatently excused from too much flying anyway, in fact no, banished, if we see you doing too much we'll all moan at you
Sexymouse it's great to hear the job is going well but sorry to hear you've been feeling unwell, well done for choosing love over money for tomorrow, hope you have a nice day togetheralso thanks for the nomination
made me blush
nicki I am sure it'll all be ok, you'll sort something, you're always really organised, maybe just back to front them?
Well I'm in, sort of, got a mammoth list to do tomorrow (and Tuesday) sorting this BBQ, oh why do I offer to do these things. I need to collect the rest of the food, where I will store 100 bread rolls until Tuesday night never mind all the meat etc I don't know. All the ones here shut down when they hit their financial problems, even the metro centre one closed, I think the Darlington one is the only one open now, wouldn't care the stuff is nice too.
