Well flying today can wait to some extent - we're off out for the day, we're going for a walk by the river and seeing how far we can get ;) No idea how far that will be like as DD has never walked as far as we can - just had a look on Google Earth and it's quite a distance ! Trainers job definitely! Thank goodness I filled the fridge & freezer with easy to cook stuff on Saturday :o

However, clean washing is away, beds are turned back and airing, dishes are stacked neatly next to the sink in the kitchen :o Place is tidy, and for today that will do :p

Right, off to sort out email.

  • Morning everyone. Thanks for the list lil_me.We had computer problems and lost loads of saved stuff. DH is slowly setting it all back up again. Can't thank anyone today for some reason, not liking it when I click on the button.Anyway, did some of the kitchen yesterday as we were hoping to have a day out somewhere and I wanted to make a start. Not sure what we're going to do as we slept in this morning. Big family talk around the table last night about DS's behaviour so he went to bed a bit late!Dining room needs to be done as well as bottom of the oven.More ironing, only managed 3 things last night.Write name in DS's school clothes.Meal plan for the week.Hope everyone enjoys the bank holiday.

Morning all. Sun still shining, kids still fighting reassuring how some things stay the same, oh and DS3 glued to my side (yes Pigpen I agree most of the time it is nice but not all the time)

    The list:

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Clean floors
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
    Extra Mission:
    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean inside of fridge
    • Clean inside of microwave don't have one
    • Clean OVEN yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it
    • Sort any one kitchen/dining room storage area, drawer, cupboard or a shelf
    My list:

    Hoover downstairs
plant out a few bits in the front garden

    I think that will do.

    Morning everyone!

Well OH and I are hoping to go out to a flower festival today when I've looked up when it starts, and need to do a little bit of food shopping as I didn't have a chance at the weekend due to working. Will try to get some flying done this afternoon, but OH let me have a lye in this morning, and so after reading through the threads I'm still sitting here in my nightie, and haven't had brekkie yet.

Sorry to hear of everyone's misfortunes, I hope they all get sorted out soon.

Probably won't manage level 3 this week cos I'm working Tues lunch, Wed lunch, trial shift at Zizzi Wed 6-close, Thurs lunch and Sunday all day. Makes me tired just thinking about it, as I expect it will be a bit busier than usual if the weather is nice cos of the last week of the summer hols.

Right, off to find some food, and look up the times of the festival.

    Sexymouse xx

    Morning all

Done the kitchen up to level 3 but none of the extras yet - I'll see how I feel later ;) (I even looked at the roof of the microwave after reading lil_me's post but it wasn't bad).

One load of washing out on the line, it's bright rather than sunny today but at least it's dry.

Dusted living room and vacuumed through there and hallway on the way to the kitchen.

My noisy neighbours are due back from holiday today so that's the end of any peace I suppose. I've enjoyed not listening to rap music.

PIGPEN - Re the Adams stuff, if you have not yet ordered. Littleswoods on-line do the Adams stuff and if you go via quidco you will get cashback, plus if you look on hotukdeals.com there are money off codes too.

I just ordered a barbie scooter to put away for DD2, reduced to £17.50 used £10 off code so £7.50 :money: :D . Just set up another account in DH name and used same code to get "big girl" scooter for DD1 again with reduction came to £7.50. Well I have now officially started my xmas shopping  .

Sat at work doing, not a lot again - this has been the longest weekend of my life:rolleyes: . Trouble is 'cos Ive been sat on my bum here all day when I get home I just cannot be bothered but today I shall:-

Do beds (stripped and in wash just need hoovering and remaking)
    Mow back garden
Toad in hole for tea (sausages defrosting)
Do the ironing (will set timer for 1 hour and see where I get to)

Have left DH with list of dailies to do :D , lets hope he does them or else:mad: .

    Later ladies x
