  • Afternoon all - well this week is going better than last week.

Starting doing some wee bits and bobs yesterday (cheating?? :p ) in the kitchen so feeling like it's ok

I'm soooo tired. DS's sleeping patterns at night are crazy right now. Was up at 4.30 this morning and I'm feeling it....

Anyway, getting back on the case. The highlight of my week last week was my lovely neighbour coming to the door and me being able to invite her in. Don't get me wrong, my house is far from immaculate but it felt so nice to be able to just say "why don't you come on it?".

Anyway, I'm havering.... here's to a good week all.

7 week - I'm interested in this too. Back to work in about 7 weeks (!) and wonder the same. I can't keep on top of it when I'm here 24/7

Well nearly all the washing is dry, just the pockets still damp on a pair of jeans. The rest is folded and put away.

Just been out for a walk with DH and the dog and it feels quite humid out there but not nearly as hot as a couple of days ago, thank goodness.

    Cooking lunch now.

Right, well we've been out for our walk (and I've caught the sun on my forehead!) and had lunch at home. OH and DD are watching Hocus Pocus so I've decided to tackle the kitchen ;) Laters

I've checked my mothers mouse trap and there was no dead mouse... so I reset it with chocolate digestive :D Fed the starving cat and pee'd the dog.

I really don't want to do the kitchen today.. it is too messy!!!!! Someone come help.. or give me a swift kick..

I'm really hungry and I think that might be one of the problems with my lack of motivation... eat... then tidy!

I've also labelled all of DD's uniform & coats ready for school and also done the running repairs (sewing on buttons etc) that I've been putting off since before the kids broke up :j

Well I've cleaned out the fridge and wiped it over :j then I went to our local library to take out books for the first (but hopefully not the last) time! :j I read a lot on the train to and from work so if I can get into this habit it will save me a fortune. Even better I walked to and from the library - nearly an hour in total - which made me feel good about exercising and not taking the car :j .

But now have just eating 2 cookies and 2 choccie biscuits in about 3 minutes flat and ruined it

    Ah well.

Still haven't mopped my floor. I had been using one of those swiffer things but have come to the conclusion I need to go back to a good old fashioned mop - any recommendations? We need a new brush too after DH took my KITCHEN brush out to brush the slabs yesterday. He couldn't work out why I was

All in all, a good day even if I am sleeping on my feet.....
