Got a batch of washing done today, and that's it for flying. Might get something done this evening if I'm not babysitting for neighbours. Will try to get vacuum round upstairs - really needs it.

Very kind friend is looking after BOTH sprogs for the afternoon. OH is out at a meeting. Trying very hard to get DD's birthday party arranged, still waiting for someone at playcentre to ring me back. Been witing for over a week now, rung twice today.

Good news, some work which OH and I have just quoted for has been given
to us, so that will keep me busy for the next few weeks.

OK, now have to pop into town to get some bits done. So much easier unaccompanied by small whining people!

Update - playcentre has rung me back and party is all set! Yay!!

Hi Guys, Hope you dont mind me posting to you? Just wondering if the Flylady challenges and thread are all about cleaning the house specifically? or is it more about getting organised and getting things done?

If it is the latter then would it be possible to join? (If it is the former, don't worry I don't have a dirty house but live with the parents still!! :) )

I don't have a lot of time, and the time I do have, I feel could be spent so much more efficiently.

Am i in the wrong place? x

Hi all you lovely ladies, hope you're all ok

Well we made it back home about 230 this morning, had a fantastic time (how did your hols go pigpen?) Haven't done much at all today and dont want to as its so COLD back here. Picked up the doogie who went absolutely bananas when she saw us and called in to work (to book some more time off which they were so impressed about -not, as I've not been at work since mid June!). Have started the unpacking, washed as much as I could in the apartment but still have a huge pile that I havent even got the energy to sort yet, and some that I'd washed needs ironing. Desperately need to shop but OH not up to it and is at work tonight so will have to see what I can find for the kids for tea in the freezer.

OH asleep in the chair at the mo so I think I better go do something, but first I need to find a pair of socks as my feet are freezing -it was 34 degrees this time yesterday _pale_

Will catch up with you all later

    Kaz

Welcome home hunny.. did you have a nice time????

Ours was horrific.. I wanted to come home about halfway there when we had 2 of them throwing up on the bus and I was covered in vomit (I have a little bit of a phobia there!!) We lost DS2 about 200 times.. DS3 was a little !!!!!!.. DD's 3 and 4 never stopped whinging.. and to top it all hubby got an ear infection.. and he of course was (and still is ) worse than ALL the children!!!

Next year they are going and leaving me home alone because I cn't cope with another 'holiday' like that!!
