Put away £1150 into 2x regular savers plus ISA but paying for big holiday, so will do a few calculations and post + for the month I have worked it all out.

September is a non starter for savings for me. New boiler installed at the beginning of month and just paid out for 2 new laptops for OH and me as his died last month and we got discount for two so replaced mine too as they are both 7 or 8 years old. 2 expensive payouts in one month. Hopefully October will be better but OH retires at end of the month.

Finally managing to report a wee bit of saving.

£600 saved for August 2016, mix of online earnings from mystery shopping and matched betting and a lot of overtime at work.

(SF - do you think you will run this thread next year? Ive done so well saving this year and i put it down to this thread and the motivation of others - hope im not prying too much xx)

Im sorry if ive confused you SF - i was so positive (in my head) that my target was 10k, not 12k - totally went from my mind that i must of said that figure in Jan :embarasse.

Ive hit 10k now and was celebrating at home till i realised my error on here! lol. I will however try and push to hit this target of 12k by Dec 31st :beer: Mini challenge accepted :rotfl:.

Saved £1300 taking my grand total to £10,000 - will do my best to hit £12,000 in next couple of months
