Buenas tardes amigos
Apologies for the absence. I've been working abroad for a bit, been away, and it's been hectic. Progress has slowed somewhat as I've just come back from a fortnight's holiday. We are also hoping to get our kitchen done over the next month or two which will kybosh the target. But there's no reason to be dispirited and no reason not to still save as much as possible - so although if the kitchen goes ahead I won't hit the target, I'm not going to revise it downwards.

Well done everyone! It's so motivating to see your progress. I'm way behind on my savings goal, and just ranked up CC (I normally pay off each month in full, but will have to split this over two months) due to flight bookings and work expenses, which take forever to be paid back! Going on a massive savings and CC pay off spree in the last remaining months! The goal is to at least hit 5k in savings this year. (Although, I was cheeky, and didn't count the 300pm that go into my save for shares at work - at the end of the year that will be 3600 - so more than 8k saved hopefully anyways!).#115 - Save £12k in 2019 challenge: £13152.85/29419.55 - 44%

My target was beginning to look iffy but it's now officially dead in the water. Mother decided it was clever to ignore her council tax debts after we moved house. Cleared the now inflated fee after the bailiff letter turned up at the new house.Mortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0

hi Tara, oh thank you, that's very kind of you! From my main income mostly the past couple of months but I have sold off some stuff earlier this year on Amazon/eBay, which has really helped.0 -

oh no Dird, what a shameNot your fault though so maybe just set a new target? ... It would be a shame to call it a day at this point.
