Yes, I've looked under statements, there is nothing. The direct debits are piling up so I currently have a very large credit, this will obviously be wiped out the moment they deign to issue a bill.0

You could drop them an email. Their customer service hasn't been great of late and with another 235,000 former Economy Energy customers acquired recently overnight the prospects of an early reply might not so good.
Another option is to post a complaint on their facebook page. This has had some success with others.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I had the same problem and posted a question about it on their FB page. They asked me to send them a PM with my details and came back and confirmed it was done in an hour or so.
I was able to get on with the rest of my day while they sorted it out so I found it easier than waiting on the phone in queue. Have been with Avro for a year and wanted to renew with them.
They have always over-estimated my usage, but as they were otherwise efficient, I left it at that. However, now I'm looking to renew, I asked that they used the actual usage figures for the next year. As my monthly fee should be £52, but they want £80!
Their reply stated they were using my actual usage figures, which was not correct.
This means I will have to change supplier, when I don't want to and set up, yet another, new online account for the new supplier.
Their loss, my hassle!0 -

I would suggest you wait till spring then ask for a refund of your credit balance. It will be harder for them to justify holding on to credit balances at that time. It would also be a good time to re-evaluate your DD after a full year of actual consumption to go on. Most suppliers are reluctant to give refunds or adjust DDs downwards in the middle of winter.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

It may be worth running a comparison using the actual annual consumption and see how it compares.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. As Dobbibill says, you need to run a comparison at the end of any fixed term.
If the current supplier is still the cheapest (or at least not so expensive to warrant a switch) then you can always negotiate a fair monthly payment.

Truly awful customer service. Customer services only open during very short office hours- no evenings or weekends. So I can only call in my lunch hour- and there's always nearly an hours hold- that's if they don't cut you off which they frequently do. I switched to another supplier at the beginning of Dec but they've since taken 2 DD's, haven't issued a closing bill and owe me around £300. When I have spoken to customer services, indifferent would be a polite word to use. Unhelpful useless company all round0
