The cynic in me asks what difference it makes, may be unfairly.
In parallel to search engine evaluations is anyone aware of any community / group / class auction schemes being launched imminently?Telegraph Sam

Seems fair enough to me.Unlike the strictly commercial sites, 'Which? Switch' doesn't hide the results from cheaper suppliers who don't pay commission.0 -
Whereas all the information Energylinx provide may be thoroughly checked etc., etc., there is no requirement for Which? Switch to provide a wide-ranging comparison or otherwise provide a prominent link to Citizens Advice Comparison Tool. This is not to suggest that Which? Switch hide anything but merely that there is no requirement for them to comply with Ofgem's Confidence Code at all.

Just use CAB and take it from there.
Once you know the "best" deal for yourself, go direct to the company if you can`t find a cashback site that will switch you.0 -
Except the CAB approach means you waste your time chasing deals that are so last week and since removed from the market.
Having played around with this a couple of weeks ago, I found specifying British Gas Standard rate as my current tariff and using unfiltered uSwitch gave me all the information I needed to compare Avro and the rest of the market.1 -
When I left bulb I took meter readings on the night before I left, but only an hour or so before midnight. I then had to contact Bulb as my monthly bill was estimated a few days before the switch. The final bill was only £0.59p as the smart meter that had two readings with BG because of free electric, they put an estimate on the second reading which stopped in Sept. 2019 as well as the first reading, e.g. act 1: 1234 up by 123 to 1357 and act 2: up by the same 4567 up to 4690. Bulb issued a refund of over £850 and the final bill on the 23/1/21 and yesterday I got the same final reading bill again. That's why I tell people who are moving suppliers to give the readings as close to midnight on the final day with the old supplier as possible. These are then the opening readings for the new supplier.Consumerist said:
In my experience, the real final statement is issued 6 weeks after a switch. Anything received before then is an interim statement subject to amendment.badger09 said:. . . Does anyone have any experience of DD being taken after Final statement generated?
Photograph them if you want as then you have a date stamp for the readings so any dispute with the old supplier will be in your favour if they dispute the readings, the time stamp on the photo says it all.Someone please tell me what money is0 -
I use the last year's figures plus 15% when getting energy quotes. Then if a credit builds up, say £150 to £200 then I can ask for a refund if I wish, I didn't with my last supplier and ended up £850 in credit when I left. 15% is only a few pounds more a month on the DD, I did actual usage and the monthly price was £46 but with the addition of 15%, it was £48.johnbhoy70 said:Anyone else, like me, running a slight debit balance here?? Why is the Avro online renewal quote tariff different to comparison websites (which are cheaper i.e simple & superswitcher on their website vs simple & superpremium on comparison) when they say they only have one tariff at any one time? Hope someone can help. Thank you!

Tried this and it gave me Avro superswitcher but yet again Uswitch doesn`t mention what would be my cheapest Neo 4.1gwapenut said:Except the CAB approach means you waste your time chasing deals that are so last week and since removed from the market.
