I clicked on renewal quote last week and was quoted for SimpleandsuperPremium but today I am quoted for SimpleandSuperPremier which is a little more expensive.
I did exactly the same. Rather dissappointed to miss out on the cheaper tarrif.
Thank you for clearing up that USupersave and MSuperssave are not available to existing customers
I managed to get the Premium a few weeks ago and got confirmation off Avro that I would go onto that on Feb 14th when contract expires. I did notice that it is now the Premier that is being quoted on the comparison sites which is quite a bit more 😕. It is rather complicated tbh.
  • All signs point to Premium having had its day. I got a [Premier] quote today and have asked separately how long this will be valid for.  And further, when they will be in a position to give me a quote valid from 5th April.
Quick look on the internet came up with a prediction that oil prices will be "under pressure" in 2021 due to Covid.

My guess is that the Premier will only be available until the tariff is withdrawn and replaced with another.
If you ask to switch to it before it's withdrawn then you'll be transferred to it. Otherwise, hope it's still available when you do switch.
    Edit
If you've had your offer letter then, since there are no exit charges, you might as well grab it while you can and switch again if something better comes along (some hopes!).

  • The reason in my case for not switching - yet - is because my current tariff is significantly cheaper until 5th April. It is a case of formulating contingency plans!

I`ve searched energyhelpline, uswitch and MSE but none of these list Avro.
    What site actually lists Avro?

They won't return any results for single fuel.

The bad news is however that they can't switch you but just refer you to Avro directly where as stated above the recommended tariffs are not available, just the Premier (for most folk)

Yes I know about CAB, what I should have asked is what site lists Avro that can actually do the switch.

I'm in the same boat at the moment. It's a case of taking the hit for a couple of months as insurance against further rises by April but I prefer to switch in the Spring. Still working on that.
