Precisely the kind of qualitative feedback that should really be published by the search engines etc when coming up with their lists. I fear that there is still some way to go.

Do they send a reminder e-mail just before the billing date? If so, I'll wait for that next month and submit readings either on the day or just before.
My statement date is the 13th and these days they send a reminder two or three days ahead - this month they sent two identical reminders dated today (10th). In the past it's been all over the place. Looking through my emails, some months the reminder has been sent on the billing date and I've found one sent two days after.
FWIW as I read the meters at the end of the month I send them those readings too.

Go by the date it says on your account when you log in to put in your readings.

Submit your meter readings by the

    xxth August 2020

and these readings will be included on your monthly bill

As regards leaving Avro, if you know you`re in debit then make a one off payment to get back in credit.
Avro are not the only ones that will block your switch if you are in debit.
  • And reading further back in this thread I think you will find that there are some providers who are less than cooperative even when your account is in credit !

Unless we complain, things will not change.
Blocking a transfer without good reason is a breach of suppliers' licence conditions and, as such, can be reported directly to Ofgem by email to: consumeraffairs@ofgem.gov.uk
If enough people complain, Ofgem can take enforcement action.

Any Avro customers know what 'N' means as a type of reading shown on statement?  ie C means customer reading, E means estimated reading but what does N mean? It only shows on the gas reading.

Things are really looking up with credit refunds actually. I’ve been with them a while and had three refunds. The first one seemed to take forever. This time I requested a refund by email on the 22nd of July and had my money in my bank account on the 31st.
  • Does anyone know why AVRO doesn't show up in the Cheap Energy Club.... we have been with them for years and sometimes AVRO's new tariffs are better but the Club doesn't show them.  Have I missed something?
