    Well today they stole my credit 2 days before my bundle was due to renew
  • I have got a sim that has £8 left that will expire on Sunday.
    I got another sim today so i could transfer £5 onto new sim. I have tried online but it says not a UK/GB mobile and then i tried using LOAD method but i got as far as selecting £5 or £10 option but the reply back was timed out try again.
    Has anybody got a step by step guide as the txt messages are not easy to follow.

    Is there any way, other than your own records, of knowing when the credit expires?

    I've had credit on for 18 months, it seems they've been sensible (to avoid legal problems) and not retroactively applied the new terms to old contracts in place at the time of topup. So, I have no records to rely on as theoretically mine will not expire .... but would be good to check without calling/alerting them
  • gwapenut i know when i last topped up as i have the email confirming date and how much.
    I and lots of other people have had their credit taken after 90 days and it must be the new T&C's from what ever date Delight started them but some people who topped up before new T&C's i thing are ok.
    Somebody on here said about transfering credit to another Delight mobile and the wait a day or 2 then transfer it back.
    As for LOAD method it says reply to txt
    3. £5 = GBP 5
    4. £10 = GBP 10
    Type [1-2] to reply
    I have tried these but the reply was they dont understand and try again.
  • I can also confirm that if you transfer credit between sims it extends the validity for a further 90 days but IMO its just not worth the hassle & as soon as you go beneath £5 you cannot transfer & will lose the remaining credit

    I too was caught out by this vanishing-credit feature. On this transfer trick, if we have two mobiles with £5 credit each (due to expire soon), and transfer £5 from A to B, and then from B to A, does B definitely send its original credit (that was about to expire) rather than just sending back the newly-refreshed credit ?

    I guess a workaround could be to get a third sim, and do A -> spare ; B -> A ; spare -> B, just to be sure.

    Or do £5 A->B ; £10 B->A ; £5 A -> B.

    Does seem a bit of a risk, though : wouldn't be at all hard to misplace the credit while trying to transfer it.

    Or run your credit flat and just put £5 on at a time. That's what I do now and pay £3 / month for the 500MB data bundle

    Today I gave up after listening for soft jazz for an hour.

    I rang them several times on 202 from my grandson's mobile phone due to my Credit Card not being accepted for online top-ups and no-one answered but then my CC online top-up suddenly worked.

    btw beware topping up too much. Unused credit expires at 90 days.
    ii The validity of each top up is 90 days. Post the 90 days validity period, the credit will expire and the customer will not be entitled to a refund of the expired credit.

    Yes this has happened to me :mad: In the last 6 weeks I have been trying to contact them as suddenly my sim stopped working, couldn't receive calls and voicemail wasn't activated.
    I have tried calling them numerous times and been on hold over a similar length of time.

    Have given up and contacting them by email as cannot continue to waste time on hold.
    Have requested my PAC code as it's important to keep this number but they have refused as the requested information didn't match their records! :eek: No idea how to keep my number, have had it for years and it's used as a business phone line so need it sorted promptly.

    Good morning

    Delight Sim arrived today and I’m thinking of getting the £15 bundle with unlimited everything.
    But before I do that can someone please give me some feedback.
    I have been told at work that unlimited calls are not unlimited and calls drop and data is also not unlimited is this right?

    Thank you

    Personally I've never bought the unlimited bundle so I couldn't comment on how unlimited it is. I've had no problem using Delight, but not as my main provider and I would never port my regular number to them or load more than £5 and buy a £3 or £5 data bundle. Be aware that any unused top-up credit expires after 90 days and you are likely to get no response if you ever need to call the CS line for assistance.
