I'm so excited for you Kitten!
I'm with you though - traditional EA is the route we will go down when the time comes. I know it's a bit more expensive but I think in some cases you get what you pay for, and I'd rather the place is marketed well and actually sell

Well it's a bit of a tough time to write anything on the internet.
Photos are happening tomorrow when I'm not here. For the best as I won't be here to get in the way but I'm bricking it that I'm not on hand. As hubby says they are experts and they want to sell it there's no way they'll do a bad job. I just caught the sticker on the bath panel trying to clean it and it's awful. Aaahhh nooooo! I'm a walking nightmare. How did I do that? I've even glass polished my oven. It's all looking very shiny. Just frustrated with all the little 'things' and 'bits' that just dont go anywhere but can't go in the bin. Grrr.
So weird sometimes being an adult with my own rubbish.
Hmm stop stressing it'll be fine.
Just thought. I'm going to scoop up all my random stuff and bath mats etc and put them in the car with me to work.
Too much left to do in the morning so I better go to bed and stop cleaning.

Yep you've got the right idea...when we sold we moved all clutter into our shed, cupboards and cars for the photos and for every viewing. For viewings it was trickier as we had to hide the cupboard clutter better incase they opened them to look.
Minimal is the way forward and only keep trinkets up if they're neutral and will appeal to many. Take down family pics wherever poss. Kitchen literally should have nothing or very little on worktops.
People find it very hard to see past other people's belongings so if they don't buy into your style you could lose sales from the pics alone. So easiest solution is minimalist look

Today has been a rather pants day. Oh how I wish I wasn't employed in customer services. One man ripped me a new one and then told by my manager it was my fault. Fantastic. I'm sure I've said before I work in a rather impoverished area. Yesterday they actually did their drug dealing in the premises. Anyway dealing with people under the influence of drugs and alcohol all day just isn't fun. I'm getting fed up. I want to consider a promotion but only men in my company get them in my area... funny that. Manager told me his income today smugly (over double mine ote) So feeling a bit mardy. I was promised my property details for me to look over and approve to market tomorrow. No sign. Surely it's a bit soon to be letting me down? So double mardy.
No sign of my tax credits. No sign of what's going on from the hospital either. I'm only awaiting news of whether I'm getting a hysterectomy at 26 so I can see why I'm bottom of the pile.
Anyway. Tomorrow is going to be good. I'm going to the preschool to pop in the forms for September. Having my hair done and a facial peel. Got to look gorgeous for hubby coming home. I've not touched my birthday money so it's weird to spend it but I'm glad to have it. And hopefully I'll get to sit on my bum and watch game of thrones finale! And putting my house on the market. No matter how much bossing about it takes.
Big movements on debt coming this week. So close but so far.
Just keep going!

Oh and thank you note. As it stands we were pretty good anyway thanks to massive ebay obsession last year. And all my stuff is pretty standard - it's all inherited bits and very muted. Going to go for the mad stuff in the new place once we've bashed the debt xLoan 1 £5200/£8000

HUBBY IS HOME TOMORROW.
Flat went on the market last Wednesday. We've had 4 viewings. It's all a bit nerve wracking. The houses we liked have gone and nothing is coming on. Despite all the stuff that's been on while I've waited for hubby and loved now it's dried up. Typical. I'm sure it'll all be fine.
Hubbys big pay day all sorted. Feels good to have that sorted and now to save up?! Solicitors to pay. Don't think I've ever saved up for something. I have saved before but I'm definitely more used to paying things off.
Hope you're all well xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

So excited for you!!
Glad flat is on and viewings are going well. I've got a feeling that when hubby is home you will find your PERFECT house, it's all about timing:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Well we were on the market and sold within 2 weeks! Very impressed. But all the houses I've been wanting have dried up. It looks like we are going to have to move towns which is challenging me. We offered what we could on the only house on in our town and been declined.
Feel immense pressure to buy to keep our buyer.
I don't understand though why people dont realise that if it hasnt sold in 6 months it's not going to at that price. So frustrating! It's the same all around here.
Trying not to over worry about it.
Going on viewings 6&7 tomorrow. Fingers crossed! XLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Fallen head over heels with viewing 6. Didn't know that it was a reposession though. Whoops. Bit concerning as it's not move in ready. Sure me and hubby would be fine but not for the girls. For the most part it just needs a thorough clean. But we definitely need a new kitchen, bathroom and flooring throughout.
I've never done any work on a house so I don't know quite how to do these things and will rely on our parents to have us live with them and probably put our stuff in storage. More expensive short term but cheaper long term. And lots of work.
It was the one when we walked up to it. Then we went to the presvhool and the nicest woman I've ever met is running it and dd1 had so much fun she wouldnt leave. We were at the school for an hour! Just need to jump through all the hoops to buy now. Then get a plan in place.
Scary but totally exciting. Hubby is groaning about the expense but he always wanted a project like this.
Any tips welcome xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000
