Daring Myself to do this

How do these domestic goddesses do it? I really hate cleaning and cooking. Other people make it look so easy. I just make more of a mess! It's just like an explosion of dust whatever I touch. Why is everything dusty?
Keep on going! Not long to go.
Then hubby can do all the cleaning. Mwhaha
Selling a few little bits I've found. And for my mum. Just find my parents a bit frustrating as they ask for my help but theyre such hoarders. I can't stand ornaments and cuddly toys but they can't part with them. Bloody dust traps. Even teddys that have never been loved!
So hopefully a trip to the post office, not the charity shop on the cards.
Keep going everyone. I'll leave you with a lovely saying from a someone that hassled me on my lunch break 'when you dont get the things you want, don't feel sad, it just means someone else needed it more than you did at that time' xLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Thanks for the kind words Kitten, it's great that you can inspire others whilst inspiring yourself at the same time :jDebt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

It's not me! That comment really made me smile so I wanted to share it with you lovely people. I do feel very blessed with what I have. I get down about not having a career, just a job but I've achieved the most in the areas most important to me. And very soon I can tick debtor off the list. Plus I'm glad for the lessons I've learnt since starting on this. Almost like a mini version of when people give all their stuff away and go and live in the wild.
Well amazing news I don't have to pay back my tax credits! I am now going to receive a staggering £4 a week. I do wonder how they work it out. But I am grateful.
Money is baffling me this month as my budgets screwed by them stopping the credits. Better luck next month.

Watched extreme cheapskates today. Wow. Guy washed his clothes then his plates then himself in a hot tub. And kept his clothes in the freezer. Apparently thats cheaper. Madness.
Still here. Still fighting. Still waiting on tax credits. My account looks a bit sorry for itself.
Got some ebsy listings finishing tonight. Forgot to put up the new ones. Poo. And I've moved my clutter (clothes for dd2 outgrown by dd1) to my mums.
Think I start with some valuations this week. Very exciting. Flats looking in better shape - just needs a deep clean. Will see what the agents say. Fingers crossed xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Kitten, don't start getting any ideas through watching that show. It really makes me laugh the extremes some people will go to save a couple of pennies, but I guess you can take away some lessons through watching the show e.g. reduce, reuse recycle and apply it to your own life.0 -
The thing I never understand is they insist on doing things that I'll think I can't afford so I won't do.
Valuation number 1 tomorrow. 2 on Friday. Got to try and get the 3rd sorted. Don't know what to do as I was going to go with house network but the first ea says they have a buyer for our place and a house for us.
Hubby is getting his bonus and a rebate this pay coming so should get the credit cards looking half decent. He better be bloody impressed - had it not been for moving the car finance over to the credit card his debt would be right down & only 1 credit card.
I'm definitely going to feel better once we've got the dip and know what we have to offer. And after the referendum people will start putting their homes on the market againit's all going to work. X

First 2 estate agent visits down, one to go. They weren't valuations. The estate agents just came over and showed me rightmove. Didn't even look at the flat.
Don't feel confident in the price we are going to market it at.
2 weeks and 3 days to go.
Sort of exciting. Sort of scary. Sort of bored waiting.
Bought the ambi pur and the magic eraser. Oven parts including the door are in the oven pride bag for the next few days. I'm not painting like I planned to. I can't get the help. But everyone says I don't need to anyway.
Hopefully get the flat on the market this week. Aaaahhhh!
Waiting on payday. Still not much to report as I'm still hammering hubbys credit cards. And it's not pay day yet.
I'm other news saw my consultant this week and he couldn't tell me anything as he didn't have my photos. Really made me feel flat. All that worry and nothing.
Onwards and upwards. Love you all xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

I am going to go for a traditional ea. He did a valuation and looked at my flat! And he was so friendly. I am a sucker for sales pitches. He has graphs and tables and everything. So got hubbys permission and I'm calling today. Very exciting. And I feel confident we will be marketing the right price. Plus they're marketing the house I want. Bit worried that after tomorrow's drama it'll sell fast though.
My mum keeps telling me the houses I'm looking at are too small but what can I do? We cant afford bigger. Really winds me up.
Going to be nice that after we move in we can focus on repaying my mum. I'm thinking this time next year we will have paid everything off. I actually think we will have lower bills after the move.
Only issue is that new home means new expenses. But the one im looking at will be ok for the foreseeable. I want to move the kitchen and take out a wall but that can wait til I have saved up. And it can be a project for hubby.
Hubbys bonus and rebate confirmed for this month so it's looking good to get him down to 2 credit cards. So excited to get the money in and paid off. 1 week and counting.
AND 2 weeks til hubby comes home. So close yet so far.
