I don't like to give undue bad press. Have received a letter back from the chief execs team and they are going to refund a fee for me which is fantastic so thank you tesco bank. Should put me back on track with being interest free sooner. So that's a result.
Got to chat to hubby on the phone for an hour and a half with the girls so that was brilliant. Dd1 got overexcited talking to him bless her.
Hubby should get a bonus in June's pay packet. I'm so excited for it I could scream lol.
I've totally come through on what I promised for him but not for me. Well I will have when he comes home.
Trying to organise couple of parties for when he comes home. Bit tricky as I can't do it at the flat but come the house I canso leaning on my mil to have it at hers.

Great news re T8sco compensation and that you all got such a long chat with OH.
Count down the days..when my DDs were small, we used to do a chart and cross off each day as it passed (and do HM banners for all around the house when he finally came home)

Fab news about Tesco Kitten
naughty of them to pay off the interest free bit though, I'm sure that's not allowed anymore, very sneaky!

Ooh thanks for info on baby whisperer...I'm gonna look into it for my baby!
Stupid tesco...they're rubbish!
I feel it only fair to warn you that some of her stuff was done in the US and I found it a bit too prescriptive for my life BUT I loved the way she categorised babies - obviously generalisations but most of it true - and the sleep method. Both helped me massively. My copy of the book has been passed on and on and I recently discovered that a near neighbour of mine has just bought it from an NCT group sale (apparently she paid £2 which is more than I did!) There is also a toddler rearing book that I didn't get as much from.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Kitten - that's fab news about Tesco and even better that its getting nearer to having DH home. You seem amazing to me, dealing with everything that you do and just getting on with it. I hope you're having a sunshine filled weekend.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Great news about Tesco.
What are your plans for the party? Planning it will give you something nice to focus on and I'm sure your DH will be over the moon.0 -
Plans for the party? Well party 1 - friends I am keeping it open initially but thinking meal out and a pub crawl. Would have been nice to do a bbq all day so the girls could be involved but don't have a garden. Trying to suggest it to others lol without being pushy. Mwhaha
Party 2 family party at mils. Lovely. Easy peasy.
I am a terrible host. Try my best. But awful. My wedding and the christenings I tried so hard. I love to try to bring the family together but thats as far as I get lol. My mil and fil are amazing at it as is my best friend so I just drag on their coat tails whilst running around after my kids.
Still waiting on tesco refund and new statement.
Talked to my mum today about what I owe she told me I can't pay her back til I'm on my feet. Haha. Bless her. Do feel less stressed about it though. I'm pleased that she thinks im working out how to budget though

I went out! Like a real person! My friends said they hadn't seen me since Christmas! So nice to see them all doing so well. They're all so lovely to me.
Planned hubbys welcome home - bar crawl. Rather excited.
Feel sad I'm not going on holiday this year but just as well. Places that haven't been victim are charging a 'safe tax'. Seems like the economies of all these countries are going to go even more out of balance with the rest of Europe. Everything in the world seems to be driven towards driving the wedge between rich and poor further apart. Watching that can't pay we'll take it away and the stats are awful. So glad to have a forum like this to keep me on the straight and narrow. I don't see how most families aren't in debt. I don't say this to cleanse myself of fault for my debts. I say it because I worry for others.
My tax credits have stopped. I don't understand why. I haven't updated them yet this year but only because hubby hasnt had his p60. Has thrown off my budget but I'm going to rehash things when hubbys pay comes in. I'm hoping it's Friday not Tuesday. But we shall see.
Hope you're all well lovely people xxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

So glad you had a night out Kitten
Bar crawl for hubbys return sounds like my idea of a perfect welcome home too
Having just come back and spent all my birthday money on my holiday....I'm glad I went but wish I could have gone somewhere different. Egypt is where my heart is and it devastates me that I can't go to Sharm el Sheikh at the moment. I'll definitely be going back one day though, OH says I'll retire there - fine by me!!
I definitely agree about the amount of people in debt - mine was huge and I haven't even had a family yet so I can only imagine how much I will struggle on a lower income and more outgoings...stress before I start!
Hope the tax credits get sorted out soon
