Thanks kirsty. But it doesn't even feel like luck has any place in it. I just always have issues whenever I spend money. It's broken. It's the wrong thing. I've been overcharged. It hasn't arrived. It tastes disgusting. I think this is why I'm getting quite good at not spending - because its always a drama when I do! Then the delightful spending guilt on top. So of course our biggest purchase with all of its big purchases has to be a total pile of poo. Weve been quoted £300 for a survey... inifinately cheaper than anticipated. But worrying where I'm going to find all these upfront expenses from.
Seriously considering moving far away so we can get a house £50k cheaper. Getting rather short sighted and short tempered.
No improvements on debts but I had the £400 for the solicitors and I'm saving for the survey so thats something.
Hope you're all doing great. Xxxx

I'm totally neglecting my diary. For two reasons. 1 hubby is spending money left, right and centre. I am having words. 2 everything feels like we're on pause. Between nothing coming on the market and the constant disappointment in not getting responses to offers on one place. It's meant to be so exciting and I've been watching so much stuff coming in the market. I am not picky so thats not the issue.
The houses I wanted to buy sold the week before he came home and apparently one looks like it's going to fall through. However. The estate agent won't let me view it. They don't allow gazumping. Trust me to go with an ea who doesn't do gazumping! The one I'm offering to would gazump me in a heartbeat. They won't even take it off the market.
    Hope you're all well xxxx

Still in limbo. We've found another place but it's not in a village, it's in a town so lots to think about. Flip side is its more than double the size of houses we've seen so more what we want.
Want all this done so we can start paying everything off again. Hating not paying everything off. Credit card just coming down by minimum payments.
I want to get to the exciting bit. Then the boring long wait bit. Haha sometimes being a realist is a bit boring lol xxx

Still here. Still plodding along. Not doing as well with hubby home but not giving up! Still making copious plans of how quickly I can clear all our debt.
Doesn't help that I keep coming up with master plans of extensions and new kitchens. I am determined to never be debt free I think. Delusions of grandeur it would seem.
I'm struggling as contrary to everywhere else nothing is coming on the housing market so we're having to made radical plans to move towns. Move to a city. It's not what I want but it can work I think. Everything here has gone up £15k in the last month as theres more demand than supply so we are priced out of the market. I'm devastated. Got to be pragmatic.
Having hubby home has been fantastic. I've had sleep! I've had adult company! I have my hubby! I've missed him so much and it's funny how you get reminded of all the reasons why you love someone. So weird living with an adult again.
    Hope you're all well. Xxx

I've not been selling and just been concentrating on not spending. So I never know what to say on here. Waiting for pay day all the time. I'm so boring.
Still nothing on the market. Except the three overpriced properties that have been on since february. Just focusing on the fact that things will come on in September. Worrying as despite being a lease sale it's going as quick as lightning. We are going to be homeless very soon! In case youre wondering I have made fair offers on these places and been rejected. Plus the awful one I fell in love with is still on the market. I can't go for it. The ea was so consistently rude, kept changing the goal prices on price and took weeks to respond to offers. Every time it's 10k more and they've taken it way over value anyway.
BUT there will be something. We just have to be patient. Scaring me though as I wanted hubbys high away pay on the application. Grrr.
Hubby is gone again :( kids are all over the place and so am i. Felt so much pressure to get the house while he was here but if its not meant then what can I do?
No sleep today and I can't mum. Well I can't mum two. I can almost mum the one that kept me up but not the well rested one. Do not want to cook dinner today. Just want to go to bed.
    Hope youre all well xxxx

Your perfect house in on the horizon, I can feel it, kitten. I do believe that it will all work itself out in the end. We pulled out of two property's before getting this one. I didn't love my house when we viewed it, but I do now and definitely think it's the best one for us.

Oh thanks chanie. I always thought selling was the hard part. I think the more I talk to people the more I get to see it's never smooth. X

The process we have in this country for buying and selling seems so outdated. I don't understand why every buyer has to have a survey and searches done. If the seller could do this and all lenders accepted it. It would speed up the process and stop gazumping and gazundering.

Kitten, remember that the annoyances now will be worth it in the long run, when you do get your dream home.
