Thank you. In real life everyone finds this so easy. My mum thinks I should give up because it hasn't been easy. So your words really help :)
Well payday yesterday. I think I may have got this wrong as my savings account has a max you can pay in so I paid a bit extra on credit card instead. Not very sensible but never mind. Have enough for the mortgage valuation/survey now. We have put in an offer on a repossession so it's important that we have this ready.
It's not an area that we want. It's 30 minutes away from family but its massive so I think it's wise.
Updated my signature. Seems very few and far between updates. But it's all going in the right direction so thats good. Keep it up everyone xx

Kitten, pretty much everyone I know who has moved, had had problems in one way or another. It's not surprising when you think that it's the biggest purchase most of us will ever make. Don't give up and you'll get there in the end.

So our offer on the repo was accepted! They want us to complete in 3 weeks which suits our buyers. Mortgage application went through fine. Need to pay for and book survey for tomorrow. And pay solicitors. They want more money to do it quickly cheeky. Money is a bit pants at the moment.. mainly because I don't allow us any money for food so major ballsup on my part. House is a tip thanks to packing but it's good as hubby is sorting through stuff to get rid of! We are even selling some of it. Brilliant. Got a bag for the charity shop too.
NIL actually asked if we have enough furniture for the new house?! Easily!! Haha I don't think we will worry it's bear. I really don't like lots of furniture. I like space and clear.
Bit scared of extra expenses of owning a house. And paying out for work that needs doing but it'll be great.
Have a £500 shortfall in clearing the cards in time. Bit concerned but will have to work it all out.
Really excited about the move and scared too but it'll happen before I can chicken out.
Hope you're all well. Anyone wanting to come round and clean please come on over xxx

Well done kitten, that's great news. It seems like all of your hard work is paying off.

Try not to worry about getting the new house in order. We've been in our house for 8 years and there is still loads that needs doing. I think of it as a lifetime project!!!!

So I've not been on because I am beyond stressed with the move. I hate my estate agent. And buying a repo is not for the faint hearted. None of the timelines seem to fit in and I am pretty sure we need to exchange next week at latest. Would be easier if we weren't borrowing money here and there as that's what seems to be taking the most time. Our mortgage application has been mad. Keep changing the goal posts £30k each way. Impossible to know what will happen next. Application in tomorrow morning and booking the valuation. Then we will have commited all our money. I just want this to work so much.
I want to focus my mse mojo to take my mind off as I am not sleeping.
Goals for post move (because this will all miraculously work)
    1) pay off £4000 by the end of the year
    2) join mse energy club (done) and save money on bills in the new place
    3) earn some serious cashback
    4) no more spending on credit cards
    5) decorate the new place and fit new bathroom without going bankrupt. This will definitely be a diy job

    Jobs for tomorrow
    *book school viewings
*contact ea about viewings and age of house and valuation
*mortgage app and pay for valuation and survey
*force hubby to sort out his jobs

Very stressed about going to hospital too. Need surgery again and it looks like it's the big one. Exactly what I don't need right now. I can't be bothered. Having repeated the same surgery for 8 years I just don't want to do this anymore. And they are refusing to do it anymore too. Ugh.

Hope you're all doing well lovely internet people xxxxx

I hope things are okay with you. I know it's stressful now, but it will soon be over.

Have you had any more news on the operation? Why are the hospital refusing to do it? What are your options?

I'm ok. It's exciting. I just want it so much. Fingers crossed for exchange as soon as possible. Survey was today so fingers crossed that's all ok. Going to try to renegotiate. Most of the packing is done now. One weekend left in the flat and hubby isn't going to be here.
As for surgery the consultant appointment is Wednesday so I'll find out then.
