Anyone using Vodafone fibre broadband?

I moved from BT to vodafone and lost about 10mb off my download speed, used to be at 70 and now it averages around 60. I was willing to accept that because it is so cheap and doesn't appear to use any traffic management. Then the router issues started, we use alot of tech at home and with 3 kids there are alot of devices. We started to see the router drop its connection every 10 mins at time and to be fair to their customer service their advice was that the supplied router was not up to the job i wanted it to do. We have 5 mobiles connected, stream netflix most night, the boys might both be on xbox and my daughter watching you tube or chatting to friends and i might so some work for home which i dont see as being uncommon but its too much. I asked about using my own equipment and its not something they allow and one adviser recommended switching wilst in my 30 days as it isnt a good fit for me. So After 3 weeks with them I am moving ISP's again, If they would allow own equipment i would stay but the saving isnt worth it if its not fit for purpose. For small households its a great deal.0

Does anyone know when Vodafone usually put their prices up on their broadband contracts or too new a isp to advise? Thinking about the Ofcom rule about being able to break contract. Nothing about the supplier just that Open Reach are dragging their heels about rolling out Fibre in my area. Thinking about switching to Virgin media. To get better than 6mb.0

Just a quick note to all.
I actually went through and ordered Vodaphone broadband as BT were not playing ball with matching the price after my previous deal ended late March. Also and frankly BT CS is awful unless you can get through to a decent rep at the right time. Anyway having read some of the poor reviews of vodaphone on here I decided to either stay with BT (try and get a better deal) or try of plusnet instead. So I tried the phone number on the BT letter I have received saying sorry your leaving. Within 5 minutes I have an offer beating the vodaphone and plusnet deals for a new 12 month contract.....it really does depend on which contact number you are using and whether you have actually already carried through on cancelling. Good luck0 -

Going back to Plusnet as soon as my Voda BB contract ends.
And im not against Voda, I still have 2 mobile contracts with them, one new last year and another one recently.
But their BB sucks. My speeds are still measurably less than with Plusnet.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Their increase is likely to be right on the max allowed so unlikely to be able to break free of your contract.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
