Have you considered a LandWind X7, if the looks are all that concern you?0

You don't have to be a woman to just prefer the styling.
I'm a (pretty shallow) male , and I'm always initially attracted by good looks.
That said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.0 -

Well said.
Same here.
I love the Evoque.
Specially in all black, looks lethal.0 -
How about the new convertible? Fully specced 4x4 with the poser factor of a convertible.0

There's nothing wrong with preferring the looks. It's a lot more honest than the people that come on here trying to claim they need one.
I didn't say there was anything wrong with liking the looks of a car.
The OP has so far asked which car is better and stating that she chose on looks.
The LandWind X7 is many many times cheaper than an Evoque and looks identical. It would be the MSE choice. :money:0 -

Good for you - what a refreshingly honest answer.
Go for it.
And that's from someone who is BMW fan.0 -
If you're after Quasimodo style then I think that the Nissan Juke does it well and for far less money.0

According to an article in AutoExpress the retained value of an Evoque is averaging 57% after three years and an X1 is averaging 41%
The Evoque is also not ugly and can actually function as a vehicle off road which the X1 can't
Also the X1 is unbelievably small inside.
They had a trial one for RRV use at work and they had to remove one rear seat to get the equipment in!
New Evoque now comes with the highly regarded Ingenium engine.
I honestly can't see any reason to buy a vehicle that is small and only really meant to be used on road despite being a "small SUV/4x4" that loses 16% more value over three years.
Just look at the vehicles listed for sale used.
You can get an X1 for under £12k on a 12plate a 12 plate Evoque with more miles is £23k
Not sure what the new prices of those two vehicles were but the difference is £11k!!0 -
