Hello - I would love to join the challenge. I have saved £2 coins before with great success but seem to have lost the 'saving habit'.
I would love to save £500 by next year - but to be honest - anything is better than nothing!

    Looking forward to joining in!

Hi Jellyb and welcome to the Sealed Pot Challenge! As we are close to opening our pots for this year and declaring how much we have saved, it would be better for you to join the new thread when it starts....which will undoubtedly be the end of this week!

Keep an eye out for the new thread, and in the meantime, why don't you have a read of all the posts on the first page of this one to see what it's is all about. Once the new one starts, be sure to post in it, and the lovely Sue will give you a number which will be yours to keep, as long as you promise to look after it well!

    Good luck with the saving!

Hi Lynne, I bet you're also getting super excited about declaration day, though I see what you mean about the uncertainty of what your sight might be like given that it's tomorrow that you have your cataract done. All very best wishes for the op going perfectly and you regaining near perfect vision as possible! Hoping to see you pop your head round the door again asap....

That's excellent last minute potting, Antomac! Well done, not long before you see how much your regular savings netted you!!!!!!

Hiya TheDapster! Don't worry, I knew for sure you'd be back with us at the time, see you just as soon as you're ready! Happy Counting!!!

  • Hello everyone. Hi sue.

Well I've had a quiet year in terms of potting and posting. But things have been really busy in real life. Coming to the end of my mat leave and have really struggled with money. My debt has doubled and my pay is going down when i return to work. So will count up my pot in the next day or two and will be making a conscious effort next year with potting and posting. In the hope I can save money and stay motivated. xx
