"Sealed pot Challenge" ~ 9

Put in my last £2 (probably) tonight, ready for counting up tomorrow. Also put in £5 which I was given by Tesco this morning after I complained (on Twitter :rotfl: ) about the cashier that served me yesterday - no please or thank you, just "£4.08" and "Here". They wanted to give me a giftcard but for some reason the manager couldn't get it to work so she just gave me cash instead

My tin already had some money in when I joined the challenge, so will be interesting to see the final total.

Baby Angel, there is absolutely no such thing as "only", whatever we save it's money we'd quite possibly have otherwise wasted or have got lost in shopping etc. I will be soooo chuffed if I have the same as you, but I'm sure it'll be more as DH & I try hard to save a specific weekly amount though it isn't always possible. I suppose there will always be some shop assistants who really don't try, MrsShazbat, though I've got to admit to the majority being exceptionally polite and cheery, but you'll always get the ones that are simply there for the wage packet and nowt else. Anyway, at least some good came out of it, and your pot benefitted!!! :j

Total,potted £424.00! So pleased, and excited for the next round:T

Evening everyone, No 36 declaring tonight as well. This year I have potted £162.98. That was increased from what it would have been as I walked home from work this evening and found £1.70 right there on the ground. Of course the £1.70 went into the pot. I haven't banked it all, just £161 so I have a bit of a start for the 2017 challenge. It's not quite the £500 I had targeted but it's better than nothing. Well done to everyone who has already declared and good luck if you are opening your pot tomorrow!

I AM SO EXCITED!

I feel like the sealed pot universe is smiling at me today as in the change section of a self service till I was using at Sainsbury's there was 12p waiting for me and my pot.

On annual leave tomorrow. Have to go to the doctors but then it is a potting time.

I must say a great thanks to Sue for all the encouragement. We all appreciate the encouragement and last year's figure of £50k plus is something YOU should be massively proud of Sue - Talk about encouraging good habits. :T
Without this challenge me and Mrs oMac would not be going to Cornwall at the weekend as we wouldn't have put the money aside. What a great idea this challenge is. Nice to see some new entries for the next challenge as well.

It's opening day!!
This year I managed to pot $1812.95 some of that went when my old housemate moved out suddenly but still *happy dance*
On another positive I also managed to pay off an extra $2771.86 of my credit card this year, that's above my set payments so it's coming down
