    Thank you Sue

It is a smaller amount than last year because I cut my housekeeping this year down to a smaller amount - I found that I always had money left over at the end of the month that I was transferring to my pot.

This means I don't have enough to fund my eating out fund for next year - I know you wondered where it came from! Any left from this year will be put back into my sealed pot. Next year it will be funded from my income.

All of my money from this year's pot is for birthday and Christmas presents for 2017.

Getting unbelievably close now eh, Ruth! Not long before our hands wreak of money and we're furiously scrubbing it off!!! In response to your question: this is about the third year we've not had to start another thread part way through - it seems as though some folk have other things to do rather than chat about their cash!! :(BTW Yes please, I'll be very glad of more help on the reminder thread, for now though there's only the one which is on the main DFW forum, I might still put one on the Challenges part but I don't want to confuse folk, especially when Friday comes with 3 different SPC threads on there! I'll give it some thought. Thanks Ruth! :D

    I'm on it :D

I will be counting up tonight i hope! I have challenged myself to do 10,000 steps a day for Movember and it is taking up most of my spare time! Still i will maybe treat us to a chinese and get counting instead of cooking :)

Not wondered from where it came, just surprised that you would spend money eating out as you always seem to budget for every penny. However, given what you said the other day I think it's a darned good idea. It's a great way of celebrating friends' Birthdays, keeping friendships going and generally keeping the sprits lifted as it gives you something to look forward to! Be happy...life's too short not to be! :)

Aha! I see what you mean now, thanks for the SAHM meaning, Ruth Like as not I'll soon forget it, but.....!

Oooooh, why did you have to mention a Chinese!! Love them!

A great idea with the 10,000 steps a day too, DH & I do that every day unless I'm unwell, it really makes a difference after a few weeks.

Thanks so much for jogging the thread on the Challenges board Ruth, much appreciated.

I am 1kg off losing 4 stone. My diet allows for a Chinese if i plan it in.

I mostly manage about 3,000 steps a day. Sitting behind a computer all day just really doesn't help. Hopefully ill be able to keep it up for the most part after November too. It can only help my weight loss right?

I'm so excited about counting up! it's going to be a total surprise this year.
