    Hi all
I would like to sign up again for next year. I however started a pot in October and it seems a shame to open it. Would you start from scratch when it starts or not? (Its one of those metal tins)

i stopped when I became pregnant.

If you don't NEED the money for Christmas i'd say keep it and open November 2nd next year :D

    Drum roll please.....

    #501 declaring an amazing, jaw-dropping total of....£12.19...:rotfl:

Takes a bow and exits stage left, blushing furiously...

Ah well, it was never going to be a huge amount as it was roadkill and shrapnel, but it does pay for Small to go to the pantomime with his class this year, so I'm cool with that.

That's the main thing :) Also, someone had to declare after jakes-mum and whatever the total it was always going to pale in comparison haha. Well done for being so gracious :D What i like to do is try each year to beat the previous year :)

Ahh I am actually banned from opening the tins as im so accident prone I can cut my hands open on anything so handing me a rough edged tin is suicide :rotfl: DH cuts them open and then pours it all on the floor for me, usually with a 'dont you dare touch those tins!' :rotfl:
I might have to make it my mission next year to beat you...... i doubt it'll happen but i'll give it a good go :D
    !

Go oooooooon, you know you want too :rotfl: worse thing is that I have to beat the previous years total so i've set myself up here a bit :rotfl:

Oh and for those that were interested, £752 of that was £2 coins :rotfl: :rotfl: and DH won the 'guess how much was in the tins' and has reminded me constantly since that I owe him £20 :D Have decided that I have to give the two 'runners up' £20 as well for their completely wrong guesses :rotfl:

    3. VSP Savings account
    4. Old ISA
    5. H2B ISA
    6. Account to store money i owe OH (he wants it back in 1 chunk)
    7. Account to store my wages (i pay myself weekly but get paid monthly)
    8. M&S CC
    9. Barclays CC

Oh my word!!!!!!!!!:eek: £2864.04 is almost unbelieveable, jakes-mum, but it is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!! :j:T:j You haven't sold your DH, DS and DD to raise THAT have you??!!!!!! You can be honest, you're amongst friends! ;) I'm soooo chuffed to think that you've made it to be able to go to Disney land, your youngsters will be over the moon...you too of course!!!!

Don't worry yourself, Baby Angel, we're all inclined not to think straight when we're under the extreme pressure of counting cash!!!

It's ok Ruth, mcjordi knows exactly what I'm talking about, but I think he's going to wind it in rather than pay for surgery!! :rotfl: Incidentally we have ONE bank account...ask jakes-mum how many she has, I bet it's an embarrassing number!!

Don't you get blushing at all, Dizzy Imp, you've still saved which is all that matters....and your small get to go to the Panto!!!!:T:dance: You did warn us all that it wouldn't be much and no one can accuse you of lieing now can they!! :rotfl: Yours has still gone into the Grand Total at least you get to say that! :D Be happy with yourself and keep on striving to do better!
