In another post you said you used a tin-opener. I sat last night with all kinds to tools to break my tin :wall: Struggled to get the notes out of it worried I would cut myself. If only I had my brain working last night. :mad:

Ah well, it was never going to be a huge amount as it was roadkill and shrapnel, but it does pay for Small to go to the pantomime with his class this year, so I'm cool with that.

Ahh I am actually banned from opening the tins as im so accident prone I can cut my hands open on anything so handing me a rough edged tin is suicide :rotfl: DH cuts them open and then pours it all on the floor for me, usually with a 'dont you dare touch those tins!' :rotfl:

Oh and for those that were interested, £752 of that was £2 coins :rotfl: :rotfl: and DH won the 'guess how much was in the tins' and has reminded me constantly since that I owe him £20 Have decided that I have to give the two 'runners up' £20 as well for their completely wrong guesses :rotfl:

Can I ask a completely random question? How many bank accounts do people have? I have 9 at the moment but I'd like a couple more to store different amounts of money. Does it matter how many you have?

1. Current account that i use for every day spends
2. Current account where money for DD's and SO's are kept
3. VSP Savings account
4. Old ISA
5. H2B ISA
6. Account to store money i owe OH (he wants it back in 1 chunk)
7. Account to store my wages (i pay myself weekly but get paid monthly)

Oh my word!!!!!!!!! :eek::eek: £2864.04 is almost unbelieveable, jakes-mum, but it is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!! :j:T:j You haven't sold your DH, DS and DD to raise THAT have you??!!!!!! You can be honest, you're amongst friends! I'm soooo chuffed to think that you've made it to be able to go to Disney land, your youngsters will be over the moon...you too of course!!!!

Don't worry yourself, Baby Angel, we're all inclined not to think straight when we're under the extreme pressure of counting cash!!!
